Fairy Mini Makes Magic!
The Fairy Mini Wand is an excellent go-to for solo play; you may not need another toy! Deep, powerful vibrations will deliver every time.Published: October 9, 2010
Pros:
Strong and steady vibrations, scroll-wheel offers complete control.
Cons:
Overheats when covered, vibrations may be too strong for bare use.
The Fairy Mini Wand is a strong powerhouse that will deliver. If you are interested in strong clitoral stimulation, look no further!
While the Fairy Mini Wand is smaller than the original Fairy, it is still a sizable toy, coming in at ten inches long. Paired with a cord, this will be a bit difficult to hide at a moments notice. The cord runs 56 inches long--for me, this reached from the outlet at the floor to not-quite center of my queen size bed. If you need a longer connection, plan on using an extension cord. The best part: no batteries!
The head is made of a stiff, matte plastic ribbed along the sides. The head also bends slightly at the neck, allowing contoured control. The body is smooth plastic at the top and bottom, and a velvet-touch pink sleeve where your hand will hold. The wand is easy to clean with a wet cloth or quick wash across the head, but this wand is NOT submersible.
The vibrations start at a pretty strong frequency and move all the way up to a mind-blowing earthquake. One of my favorite features on the Fairy Mini Wand is the scroll wheel. The changes in vibration are fluid and gradual; your playtime won't be interrupted by jumping plateaus.
The Fairy Mini Wand comes with a soft pink pouch for storage, but it runs a bit small. You can fit the cord or the wand in, but when trying to fit both, you will have to do some cord-gymnastics and run risk of damaging its integrity. Save the pouch for a smaller toy and find alternate storage.
I would caution anyone that needs discretion during use. The wand can produce somewhat loud buzzing, which could be heard behind doors and possibly through thin walls. You will not be able to pull this one under the blankets to muffle, either: the body of the wand will overheat and become difficult to hold (not to mention unsafe!). For this reason, I do not see the Fairy Mini being practical during intercourse, but can still offer an exciting experience in partner play (you'll just need to think outside the box!).
The Fairy Mini Wand is also customizable with additional attachments that can be fit over the head. If you enjoy strong vibrations but also want G-spot, vaginal or anal stimulation, accessorize your wand!

Experience
I play with the Fairy Mini Wand almost exclusively for solo use. As a woman that primarily needs clitoral stimulation to orgasm, I don't need to look any further. I have a clit of steel, needing more intense vibrations than most vibrators can provide--the Fairy Mini Wand easily quells those concerns. In fact, I tend hang out at the bare minimum and move up just slightly during orgasm; I doubt that I have ever reached even the halfway point. I also am unable to use bare; I need 1-2 layers of clothing between me and the head of the wand to stand the pressure, without it, it is just too intense and becomes painful.

Fairy Mini Wand -vs- the Hitachi Wand
-
The Hitachi is legendary. This is the first i have heard of the mini. Are the toy head the same size? Wondering because i know there are many attachments for the Hitachi. What are the differences in noise sound between the two.
I kinda like the mini due to the color & the way the vibration speed is adjustable.
Anyone tried both and have feedback. The video reviewer was very helpful, but i would like a few more opinions. Thanks as always. -
I think the "Big Fairy" ("Fairy Wand", not the mini) is the same size as the Hitachi. The controls work the same way. However, the Fairy line has many attachments of its own, particularly the Mini. :)
I haven't tried the Hitachi, so I can't compare, but I love my Fairy. -
The length of the power cord would be a nice piece of information to include with the specifications.

Fairy Mini Price Increase
-
I realize it's funny to post this when it's discounted right now.
My current one barely works, it's really worn out. I wanted/want to get a new one, it was out of stock for quite a while. When it was back in stock, I noticed the price had went up from $49.99 to 54.99. I don't think they started including shipping in the purchase price, but maybe I'm wrong. I wonder why the increase though.:/ -

It's not out of stock now, and it's 25% off right now. Go for it!

Fairy original vs. Fairy Mini
-
Do they have the same power and intensity? Ie, same motor?

Thank you for viewing Fairy mini wand massager review page!

Great first review, CLP! You worked very hard on this, and it shows! It's a very simple and to-the-point review, which is what makes it so good!
Great job! I have been eyeing this one up for quite some time now. I am between it and the Inspire. The wheel control sounds interesting as well; being able to gradually increase your power instead of plateuing, as you said
Amazing first review, welcome to Eden

Good review, thanks.
Awesome review
Very nice review! I guess this one would be a bit much for me, since my Hitachi is too strong for me to use directly on bare skin. Perhaps the Mini Mini would be more my "thang"!
Thanks for the review!
Thank you so much for the encouraging words, everybody! I truly do appreciate it!
Good review!
