I'll take a flexible rabbit vibrator like the Bendable Touch by Evolved Novelties any day over one of the dual-action twisting ones. Two motors provide intense vibrations throughout, which resulted in several happy endings for this satisfied user!

Use

Evolved Novelties is quickly becoming one of my favorite toy companies! This time, they have impressed me with the Bendable Touch rabbit vibrator. I love the fact that this is a genuine flexible toy that can bend to fit just about anyone's anatomy comfortably, whether it be directed on the G-spot, or just intended for thrusting and teasing the clitoris. The gentle contours and average size make it suitable for any user, from a beginner to the more advanced.

Material / Texture

What makes this toy so comfortable for anyone to use is the thick TPR layer over the core parts, because it has more of a squishy, but firm, jelly feel to it. However being phthalates free, latex-free, and hypo-allergenic, it is much safer to use than jelly! It's available in either a transparent purple or pink and it's smooth all over, with the exception of a few pleasure ridges and bumps. There's a fair amount of drag to it, giving it just enough friction, but a lubricant will quickly resolve that if it's an issue for you.

TPR generally has very little to no smell, and this toy was no exception. If you know how to properly care for TPR, it can last a long time. I know that it's fast becoming one of my top material choices because it's gentle and compresses nicely. Even though the material is slightly porous and condom usage is recommended, I don't use one because I don't think they fit well over rabbit vibrators. Besides, I never share my toys with anyone, but that is something to consider if you do plan on sharing the love.

Design / Shape / Size

The overall design of this toy is simple and stylish. Again, having the ability to bend the toy at the mid-shaft portion is a very attractive feature, considering that not every woman has the same anatomy on the inside. You could even bend it sideways to match your partner's curved or hooked penis!

It's not a particularly large toy, only 8-1/2 inches in length, 5 inches insertable, and 1-3/8 inch in diameter. I tend to pay more attention to diameter, rather than the circumference; however if the latter interests you, it's 4-1/2 inches. For most users, this will be an ideal size toy that won't cause any size-related discomfort.

The top portion kind of reminds me of a light bulb, with a small bump that juts out from the side, presumably to hit the G-spot. Moving down the shaft, this "bulb" tapers off and is followed by two consecutive wide rings over the bendable portion, a white material visible through the TPR that is visually similar to the expandable tubing that connects a clothes dryer to the outside vent. It simply allows the toy to flex and stay fixed at whichever angle you choose until you bend it back.

The bottom portion has a ridge where it meets the handle to provide some extra texture, if you can even detect it. The clitoral stimulator resembles a knuckle and thumb, but much smoother with some pliability. There are no cheesy designs, carvings, etc. on this toy; just a sleek, polished, classy universal look.

Functions / Performance / Controls

When I first opened the toy to put in batteries, I wondered where they would fit, since the space appeared only large enough for a flat lithium battery. Well, I gave it a little shake and down slid a battery box in which to insert three AAA's. This way, you won't end up having batteries rolling all over the place or have to deal with figuring out which way the negative/positive ends go. Screwing the cap back on tightly ensures a safe, tight, waterproof seal.

I'm not particularly fond of the control mechanism. Because it is situated at the base of the handle and is not recessed, but rather flush with the bottom, it was easy to change the settings or turn it off completely during use. Pressing it cycles through 3 increasing levels of vibration, with the highest being quite intense, but it could always be stronger for me in that department. Still, it packs more power than many of my other toys, and I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that there are two motors, one in the head and one in the clitoral stimulator.

It's not a very quiet toy and ranks in the middle of noise pollution. It had a bit of a rattle to it also, so keep it under the covers to soundproof it a little if you don't live alone.

Care and Maintenance

Caring for this toy couldn't be any easier! And who doesn't love a toy that is fairly low-maintenance? First of all, it's waterproof, so don't be afraid if it gets wet during clean-up. Always use warm water and antibacterial soap or an adult toy spray cleaner. I'll use the latter before use just to touch it up, then follow with the soapy stuff. Do not boil or place in the dishwasher to sterilize!

Whatever you do, don't throw away the box it comes in! Although a bit bulky, it is the ideal storage solution for your toy and it will it from collecting lint. So safeguard it in its pretty tin box. I wish more manufacturers would create sturdy storage boxes like this one. I know they take up space, but they really do help prolong the life of toys.

Either a water-based lubricant or a silicone one can be used with this toy. I applied a little lube to the tip just to make insertion easier, but after that I didn't need to keep re-applying more.

Personal comments

Although I personally found the Bendable Touch to be a little on the small side, it partially made up for that with its impressive power and soft touch. I'm so glad that I was able to watch the video review on this product in addition to reading the opinions of others who tried it before I finalized my decision to purchase it. I did experience one problem with the lowest setting not always activating the motor in the tip unless I shook it a little, then I was able to cycle through the remaining settings with both motors functioning. Evolved Novelties has a limited 1-year warranty with their toys, so I made sure I registered immediately in case this toy goes completely haywire on me. Follow-up commentary I still like it 3 months after original review

Oh yea, my bendable touch is still working like a charm! There's still the issue with the low setting being temperamental, but since I tend to skip right over that and go to the highest so I get off fast, I'm willing to overlook that problem.
