Crystalesence passion kit - vibrator kit discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Lil

The Crystalessence Passion Kit from California exotics comes with one vibrator and two sleeves. The see-through vibe runs on 2 AA batteries and it 7" long with 6" insertable length. The base is not flared so it is not recommended for anal sex and I have not used it for anal. The sleeves are made from crystalessence material which is PVC based and is compatible with water, oil, and silicone. The rubbery texture can attract lint and dust so keep it somewhere clean, but a quick rinse under water will clean dust off the surface.

I had never used sleeves before or this crystalessence material, so I was curious and wanted to give this kit a try. One of the sleeves has a rounded, bulbous head but smoothly tapers and undulates down to the base. The second sleeve has a much more severe rounded head and has two more rounded, ribbed portions along the length of it. I found the material the sleeves were made of to be very soft and flexible along the thinner portions, but the rounded sections are much thicker and are actually very firm. The sleeves work better than I thought they would. I figured they would be clumsy and slip while using them, but they actually have a tight fit. In fact, if you don't use lubricant to put the sleeves on and to help remove them, then it'll be a difficult task. Once, I forgot to remove the sleeve after using the vibe and when I went to remove it later, the lubricant had dried up and I had to use hot water to remove it.

I find the sleeves, specifically the rounded heads to be too large for me. For toys and solo play I prefer smaller items with a more gradual taper, at least initially. The rounded parts are also very firm so I feel like they have less give and can be harder to insert than more flexible materials. But these are personal preferences and I think a lot of people would enjoy the size and solidity of these toys. The vibrations of this toy range from low to a medium high. The adjustable dial at the base lets you gradually turn it up or down as needed with a pretty flexible range. They are good for me and I believe most people would find them satisfactory, more advanced toy users might want something stronger.

This was my first shot at using sleeves and I think it's an interesting and versatile kind of product, but I found this to be cheap on the quality side in general compared to my other toys. Also, I still find the large round heads to be uncomfortable for me to use, I like something that is more gradual. I don't use these anymore and I'm looking for other sleeves which might be a better fit for me.
