First time

It's fun for a first toy, but if you're used to strong toys, avoid this one. It's worth the money, but you need to live alone, or wait for your roommates to be asleep, otherwise people will think you're being attacked by sexy bees.

Use

I was pretty excited to get this in the mail; it was a delightful sight to me, even with the horribly indiscreet packaging. I honestly didn't know how to react to my first actual vibrator! There was that feeling of impatience as I had to wait for the house to become still. The first problem arose when I put the batteries in. It's loud enough for people to notice, so no mid-day play with this. Now, I had high hopes for my first vibe and I might have hoped that it would be mind boggling right from the get go. Eh, it was okay. The vibes were enjoyable, but I could have gotten off faster with my hand. It basically got me to the very edge of climaxing, but didn't push me over the edge into orgasmic bliss. I started with clit action mostly, but then I decided to move my attention to the G-spot which I found difficult and pretty much impossible to find with this toy. Maybe that was because of its short, slim stature, or maybe I'm used to human boning, but it was too much of a hassle for me to climax while penetrating. In general, this vibe is great for clit use, but personally, it wasn't up to the task, even on the highest setting. It was nice, but I still ended up using my own hand. I would recommend this for a beginner and it's worth the money.

Material / Texture

The material is hard without much give and the surface is a little rough. It smells lightly of plastic, but that goes away after a couple of minutes after first opening the package. I would suggest lube to deal with it as the material tends to dry a person up.
    • Rigid
    • Smooth
    • Somewhat porous

Design / Shape / Size

It's extremely straight and it's like a pole, so it's the basic shape of a vibe: straight, with a girth that stays the same until the tip where it tapers off into a cone shape. The size isn't too small, but it's also not large and intimidating. This is definitely a beginner size and I would say if you hadn't had sex before, this would be great. It's not scary at all. I was even a little disappointed at how small it actually was in my hand.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls are located on the bottom of the vibe with a swivel control that can make it hard to go from soft to hard vibrations when getting into it. It's pretty simple to figure out how to control it, but I can see someone getting confused when it's their first time, thus making the lack of instructions irritating. When you want to get off quickly, not knowing how to put it together is a pain in the bum. I found it stimulated the clit best when the nose was pointed up, but this made the controls face away from me, causing a few fumbles. This thing is loud, especially on the highest setting. I had to wait until everyone in the house was asleep before I could play. It does say waterproof, but the cap that seals in the batteries doesn't close all the way and is loose, so I won't put this thing near water with batteries running in it. That would be a difficult death to have explained to the folks.

Care and Maintenance

It's pretty easy to clean. I washed it with water and sensitive soap; don't use smelly or irritating soap, it's going to go in your coochy, and if it irritates the outside, its going to f-up your insides. I store all my toys in a locked tin lunch pail, but I have them in separate containers/bags inside the pail making sure all the air is pressed out of the bags to prevent bacteria growth (which the washing helps prevent). But seriously wash it after use and be gentle. Even though its cheap, it's your little buddy. Be nice to your little buddy. I think it would work great with lube, especially if you're tight.

Packaging

It was packaged pretty simply. It came in a clear plastic container that was shaped to it. The package honestly looked as though it was from the Target knockoff section. The package can't be used as a storage device since you have to cut it open to get to the toy.

Personal comments

I liked it for clit stuff, though I would have to use a more powerful vibe to finish me off. It's a great way to get you hot and keep you nice and turned on. It does take some effort to get it at the place you want, but for a first timer, it worked its magic.

Experience

I liked it and would suggest it to a friend. I can't wait to use it with my partner because I think it could bring fun to both sides of the table.

    Congratulations on your first review!

I have something to add to where you mentioned that removing the air from the individual bags the toys are stored in would prevent bacteria growth. I just wanted to let people know that some bacteria grow in the presence on oxygen and others without oxygen (aerobic and anaerobic respectively). As long as the toys are well cleaned and fully dried (and remain that way), they are well stored. Of course, they should be out of the light, heat and moisture, too. Protecting them by placing in the separate bags is a good way to prevent reactions between materials though, so that is a good suggestion.

Thank you for sharing your first review.

If you need G-spot stimulation, you should look for a vibe that's designed with an angled G-spot head. A vibe with a completely straight shape like this one won't work on the G-spot unless you position it at the perfect angle, which is not easy at all.

Haha yeah I honestly posted this months ago and since then added more to my pile. I mostly just enjoy the variety of options I have. This one is defiantly great for the shower.

Hey, MonsterMouse, did you do okay in the quake(s)? (I see you put Bay Area for your location, but I don't know if you meant that Bay Area, or another.)

Sorry about the long delay in getting your review published. Rossie and I are the only ones editing and there's a backlog. You might see other names recently where it says editor, but those are the mentors and they edit their students' work.

And speaking of mentors, anyone can sign up with a mentor to perfect their reviewing, as well as get answers to anything you might have about the site. This is the page listing the mentors. If you're interested, I recommend reading about them in their blurbs and then reading some of the reviews by whomever you think sounds good for you and decide if you like their review style.

Becoming a student is free and entirely voluntary, but you'll find out in no time what it is people are looking for in reviews. Of course, you can also just read some of the highly rated reviews by anyone on products you are interested in or have. If you find someone whose style you really like, you can always ask them for some help and see if they are receptive. People here are very friendly! Welcome to Eden!

Honestly I slept through the quake. You kinda get used to them. I do believe I'll look into the Mentor program. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I'm glad you're okay! Did you know charmedtomeetyou, as well as Pete's Princess are both mentors? So, you already sort of know two of the five! Good luck and I am sure you will excel in the mentor program and I look forward to seeing your future reviews!
