This was only my second vibrator and my first "non-classic" vibrator, and by that I mean that it was my first g-spot and clitoral stimulator. I absolutely love it! After I got it I was kicking myself in the foot for not buying a vibrator a long, long time ago.

The Butterfly Kiss is made out of jelly. As I said, I am new to toys so I do not have a lot of expertise in the manner, but as a newbie, I found that I did like the feel of it. Your skin catches slightly rubbing against it, but I did not find any problems in the downtown region, both teasing myself without lube and getting really into it with lube (I do really advise lube if you are doing more than teasing, though.) I also loved that the jelly is a bright pink color. It is a pretty vibrator and although some people might be against clitoral stimulation from an animal, the butterfly is very friendly and inviting to me. The jelly is quite flexible, which I imagine would be very useful if your body does not fit the curve of this vibrator perfectly, but mine definitely does. As soon as I insert the butterfly kiss, that butterfly is nestled right up on my clitoris.

The part meant for insertion is quite slender with a larger head, kind of in the shape of a rose bud, meant to stimulate the g-spot. I found the toy quite uncomfortable to insert because of this large head. My body had trouble stretching around it so it would slowly push in, and then POP in, as I got to the bottom of the head. This could be because I am very new to sex and toys and still quite small, so others might have no trouble. Either way, it was not a deal breaker for me and I do not believe it should be for anyone else, because once the toy is in, that head is extremely useful!

This toy actually gave me my first g-spot orgasm and it was amazing. Although I have read other reviews where people complain about the flexible jelly material, I quite enjoyed it. It gave me good stimulation of my g-spot without being too hard or scary to insert. I also liked that I could rock back and forth on this toy or, my favorite move, moving the base in circles to give the shaft a rotating motion like some rabbits do. The butterfly, as I said, hit my clitoris perfectly and the wings fit right outside my outer labia and fluttered along, adding to the stimulation.

I found the vibrations quite strong. There are three different intensities. The first, although I doubt it would get anyone off, is a fairly strong teaser and got me warmed up very quickly. The third is very strong and will get you off quite quickly. It may not be enough for power queens, but it left me more than satisfied.

The Butterfly Kiss is extremely easy to use. To insert batteries simply twist the bottom counterclockwise and it will pull down. This toy takes two AAA batteries. The battery holder twists back into place quite securely and I have had no problem with it coming undone or feeling flimsy during the act. The vibrator is controlled by a push button on the bottom which is easy to access during solo play , perhaps too easy. Quite a few times I gripped the handle and had one or two fingers on the bottom for better grip, and when you press on the button (not all the way, just a little bit of pressure) the vibrations stop. Although this stop-and-start feels kind of good, it can be inopportune and I worry about inadvertently breaking my toy that way.

I believe this is a great toy for solo play, and especially for beginners or women who have never had a g-sport orgasm. It's pretty and powerful, and it allows you to both find your g-spot and stimulate it without over stimulating. Having this toy has made me badly want to try out others, but I think I will always continue to love this one. It is a great buy and I definitely recommend it.
