Form 6 Fail

The Form 6 has a lot going for it. I love that it's rechargeable, comes in a discreet charging box, and has multiple vibration speeds and patterns. However, the overall shape and design don't suit me. The buttons are small, hard to find, and difficult to press, which really takes away from the pleasure of using this vibe.

Pros:
Discreet storage/charging case, can't overcharge battery, waterproof, powerful, patterns and speeds
Cons:
Buttons are difficult to find and hard to press, obvious seam, loud at higher speeds

Experience
I'm sad to say I'm very disappointed with the Form 6. The shape doesn't suit me at all, but that's not the vibe's fault. I gave it a 3 star rating because of its impossible buttons, noise level, and visible seam. For the price of this toy, it should be better designed with user-friendly controls. Also, its motors are loud when compared to other luxury sex toys.

Great review. I've really been wanting this, but now I'm kind of thinking twice.

Oh wow, this was kind of a heartbreaking review to read. Kudos to you for putting it up, though, it just sounds like disappointment all over.

Wow. I was going to ask why you'd given this three stars if it was really nothing but frustration---I probably would have given 2 if I had had your experience with this---and I just checked, and this has 12 five-star reviews, two four-star reviews, and yours is the only three-star! For a design with the buttons inside you, that seems bonkers!

Great review, the design seems really disappointing, especially for that price.

I've had my eye on the Form 6 for a long time, so this is so disappointing. What's even more disappointing is to spend this much on a vibe when, as you said, you could've gotten a few other toys that you KNOW you'd like and could actually use.

Great job on this review! I'm nominating it for the weekly rumble if it has not been nominated already.

Thanks for the review ! I think it's important to hear from people who don't like a certain toy, too.

I had been eyeing it, but it IS off-putting that the buttons are on the insertion end and I'm glad I read your review.

Great review and video. Sorry to hear there were so many problems with this, for a luxury toy there should not be so many issues.

  • Form 6 or Je Joue Uma
    • Looking to invest in a more expensive g-spot vibrator, so I'd like to hear from anyone who has used both what the pros and cons are! Thanks!

[Full disclosure: I already posted a comparison discussion but they dont seem to be super easy for people to find, so I figured I'd try again here.]

      Thanks for your thoughts!

I'd recommend Uma. I have the Form 6, and tried the Uma at a real store. Here's what I really don't like about form 6:
The silicone has a harsh seam (uma's seamless)
The whole vibrator is very rigid, not comfortable to insert (Uma's rigid as well, but a lot smoother)
The vibration on the small end is very buzzy (Uma has one motor, but a very nice one)
The buttons are impossible, if you have the big end inserted, you have to take it out to change the setting (Uma's buttons are on the opposite end of the motor, the buttons are not easy but it's relatively better compare to Form 6).
The silicone attracts so much dust and lint (Uma does this too, but not as bad)
Whiny sound from the motor (uma's a lot quieter)

What's actually good about Form 6:
3 years warranty compared to Uma's one year

So glad to finally hear an opinion on this! Thanks! I was leaning towards the uma, but this definitely gives me some concrete reasons why. Anyone out there prefer the form 6? Or is the uma the uncontested favorite?

  • Form 6 color
    • Is the pink of the form six the same pink that's on the other vibes in the form series? The 6 always seems to look more bubble-gummy than the pink used on the 2 3 and 4 in all the pictures I've seen. Am I imaging this?

Seems more like a burgundy rather than a bright pink.
    • I think youre right about it being more bubblegum

  • Worth the money?
    • I'm looking for a high quality vibrator for my wife. Is this one worth the hefty price tag?
    • It seems to be well rated from the reviews. The nice thing about Eden is the unbiased reviews that are provided by the community. Being that it has a fairly hefty price tag, I would recommend that you read through all the reviews and if you still have questions, to ask them on the review itself. You're more likely to receive a better answer that way.

    • Is there a lot of drag with this vibe? if so how much lubrication would be necessary?
    • It looks to be the same material as one I had before. Water based lube's your best bet..
