Fun and effective
This is a great toy for solo or couples play; stronger than many other bullets, it is well-shaped and fun.Published: April 14, 2009

So many small vibrators like this just don't have the power I want. Most bullet vibrators I have used are terrific for warming up before sex, and are great for clitoral stimulation during intercourse. For masturbation, though, I tend to feel disappointed. The strength isn't strong enough, and I get frustrated.
But not with this particular vibrator!
I admit that the light show is somewhat unnecessary, but I do not find it distracting. In fact, it's helpful when trying to figure out what setting it's on.
The toy has five speeds, and seven vibration patterns. I was not very sure that I had any need for seven vibration patterns, but I like it a lot. It rather feels as though you're not alone, but that your lover is playing with you, and you're not quite sure what he'll do next.
The speeds are good, too. With many vibrators, I keep them on high almost all the time, and only change the speed when I get too sensitive and turn them all the way to low. The Xtreme Pack, however, is actually strong enough that I keep the speed on 3 or 4, and only turn it up to five when I'm very aroused. That is the point where other bullets let me down. I end up trying to apply pressure to push myself over the edge, where with this toy, I can just turn it the rest of the way up.
As an added nice touch, when I don't want the patterns anymore and am ready for a steady vibration, I can turn the vibrator off and back on with two touches of a single button, and it returns to the basic buzz. It may not sound important, but it is!
The curved shape is not only great for g-spot stimulation, but makes for comfortable clitoral play, both alone, and during intercourse with my partner, who doesn't have to shift quite as far up as he does with a straight bullet.
I also like the soft rubber cote. I like the added friction. They toy is firm and solid, but soft and textured with the cote. The corded bullets like this are always my favourite, because they seem to last longer than the bullets whose mechanical battery parts are in with the parts that cause the vibrations. The batteries seem to last longer in this vibrator than in some of the other bullets I've used, but that may be because I finish quicker, and don't have to use it for as long as I need to use the others.
The Xtreme Pack is not waterproof, and the battery end should be exposed to water when cleaning the toy.
But not with this particular vibrator!

This is my favorite vibrator. I use it as a clitoral stimulator, and the angle and intensity are perfect for me. Over time, as others mention in their reviews, the battery pack doesn't seem to work right - the plug doesn't fit tightly. When the connection is not right, the vibrator cuts out.
I had set the toy aside in my "magic bag", because I just didn't want to throw it away. I thought about buying another one, but I was worried I'd have the same problem.
Then I bought another, similar vibrator by California Exotic. Just out of curiosity, I plugged the Xtreme pack G-spot bullet into the new battery pack. I was thrilled! California Exotic makes their battery packs the same size! And the new one doesn't have the poor connection issue. So as long as you have more than one Cal Ex bullet vibe, you can take advantage of their interchangeable parts!

Depends. This one you can, although I wouldn't insert it very far to make sure you don't end up with anything getting caught where the cord comes out of the bullet.

This is my first multi function bullet. My other one is just a straight up vibe. This one has a smoother material, and I like the different vibration settings. It's a good value for the price.

For that you want something with a flared bottom, like a buttplug has. Otherwise there is a risk that it could go too far in, and you wouldn't be able to get it out. It has a pretty good vibe, but then most guys need a stronger vibe for their prostate. It's also not really ideally shaped for a prostate vibe.
As a g-spot vibe, I would say it's fair. Both the prostate and g-spot need strong stimulation, and this is not a really powerful vibrator. It's also not really long enough to combine thrusting motion with the vibration, which is what these spots love, in particular.
As a clitoral vibe, it's excellent. And that is what I use it for. It can also provide a nice counterpoint, when inserted, to another clitoral vibe.
It's got a really long cord, and this would be good for a partner who wanted to control a vibe stuck in some snug panties or otherwise held up to their partner. It's also pretty quiet, and so is less likely to make you burst out laughing at the noise or otherwise spoil the mood with angry hornet sounds.

Question about Xtreme Pack Bullet

For those of you that have owned this, how long has it last for you? Even with a fair amount of love n' care my bullets don't last more than a few months and I've come to accept this as a reality of bullet vibrators :(
BUT, seeing as everyone says this is the best darn bullet in the world, I was wondering if maybe it was an exception to this rule? -
My first one lasted a year and a half.
But I've heard of others having much worse luck. -
I guess it's nice to know it at least has the capacity to last that long...there wasn't anything super special you did to extend its life, was there? I usually just try to keep them pretty dry (even when they say waterproof), take the batteries out between uses, and I have started reinforcing the wires at their connections with electrical tape. The tape has actually helped them from coming loose, which is good.
Anyone else have any suggestions?
