Overall, I would say this item is definitely worth it. It's cheap and fun. It'll make your time in the shower or tub a lot more exciting:) You don't need lube or anything for this, it's basically take it out of the box and play. Definitely worth it.Published: August 16, 2010

A friend got us one of these as a late wedding present a little while ago, and the dial on it hasn't broken yet! I don't know if it was just a production issue, or what, but this one is chugging along perfectly and is getting plenty of use! I definitely am glad that it got replaced, although I am now looking for a better one! :D

Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?

LinLinHi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!
Any help would be appreciated! -
You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!

I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.

Good first review. This was my first vibe, and I absolutely loved it. This vibe really isn't safe for anal since it doesn't have a flared base though.

It's always a good idea to use lube with a toy even if you are one of the "juicier" types. I thought I was fine without it until I tried it one time and realized that skin drag was what was irritating my lady bits. Have to agree with Mistress Kay on the non-flared base being risky for penetrative anal play, though a vibrator used to relax the anal sphincter bu running it around the anal ring can be excellent.
LOL there are worse things than Nitrile gloves...like sil-a-gel. whooooo that stuff is NASTY smelling. It's good to know this won't perfume your house quite as badly.
Sux that it died so horribly but then again at $13 you can replace it quite easily...or move on.

@CaramelizedMe, the texture of it just doesn't feel natural, and is just too smooth. There isn't any texture or even any bumps to add to the feeling. Price has nothing to do with it being a beginner's or an advanced toy. Some of the cheap things out there are better then others that are $20-$30 more.
@Heartthrob, Yeah it just twisted off... I tried turning the knob and it broke while my wife and I were playing... It was a big disappointment for it to have happened at that time... It still works a little bit, but we cant change the level of the power
