Fun Little Joystick...Er...Egg!

This is a good basic egg vibrator for external stimulation. It's more of a slow burn than a big bang, but that can be great. It feels sturdy and the intensity is good. I also like that it has 5 levels. Plus you really can't beat the price point. It's a great option to have in your toybox.
Published:
Pros

Cons
Too wide; short cord; vibration stronger at the base of the egg.

Use

This toy is for external use. It's shape allows it to be slid over multiple body parts. It nestles into the labia and up against the clit nicely, and over nipples, and I'm guessing it is the perfect size for some amazing taint vibration. I'd really like to use this one on my partner to see where it gets him going. It isn't for public play, as it's wired and the length of the wire isn't super long. I realized that I naturally reach an arm above my head when I'm nearing orgasm and I couldn't do that here without unplugging the egg from the remote. It's great for partner play though, as it can be applied virtually anywhere. I think I'm going to see what I can do with it while I give my partner a blowjob. It does not appear to be waterproof, so use caution when cleaning. I read that someone enjoyed this for vaginal play. I'm not sure how they did it, because it's very bulbous and large. I'd also use caution with that because you would have to tug the wire to remove it and if the wire breaks...well then you've got a small lightbulb-sized vibrator stuck wherever you inserted it.

Material / Texture

This is a basic hard plastic. It's super smooth, no rough edges anywhere. Nothing fancy, but it works in this case. The remote is a lot like the nunchuck part of a Wii remote. Plastic with softer buttons. They're sturdy enough that pressing them is easy.

Design / Shape / Size

The shape took getting used to for me. It's a bit too big and round to really hit my clit right. It felt great, but it took some work to orgasm. I had to figure out how to get this 2" wide pear-shaped bulb angled just right when there are no angles, just smooth hard surface. I'm a smaller woman, and my girl parts are proportionate. If it had less surface area, it would have been much better for me. Also, it seemed to vibrate my hand more than it did my clit. I'm not sure how that happened, but my fingers were all buzzy while the sensations against my clit just weren't at the same level. It's kind of a bumbly, awkward toy. I do love the remote though. It has three buttons. Left turns the intensity down, right turns it up, and the power button switches between the 5 patterns. You hold it down to turn it off. It's ergonomic and fit in my hand perfectly. The buttons were very intuitive and took no work to figure out.

Functions / Performance / Controls

All the vibration is in the egg, which is where it should be. For some reason, it vibrates more near the base where it tapers to the wire than it does at the end of the egg meant to touch the body. It has five patterns of vibration. I am not a fan of patterns, but if you are a person who is this is great. I prefer just a standard constant buzz, since it gets me off so much faster. Pauses are just teases for me. It also has 5 intensities, which are pretty strong. I've had to turn some toys all the way up and this one I had right on three. It's not super loud, but not silent either. If a window were open or music was on, it'd be pretty well masked. In a silent room, you'd definitely hear something. Also, because it's hard plastic it gets a little tappy depending how you're using it. It takes two AAA batteries. I've had a couple good sessions with this egg and the batteries have lasted. I'm not sure how quickly they'll burn out, but so far so good. It's definitely not waterproof.

Care and Maintenance

Toy cleaner or wipes would be easiest here. The egg has a wire connected to it, and there's a jack at one end that plugs into the remote part of the toy. It fit in my purse just fine, and is very portable.

Packaging

This came in a basic, sealed plastic clamshell. It had to be cut out, and the whole time I was worried I'd damage the wire. I didn't, but unless caution is used the wire could be yanked or cut before this toy is ever played with. Once it's out, there is a tiny little instructional insert and that's it. Functional packaging meant to show you exactly what you're getting and stay within a very low budget.

Personal comments

I was pleasantly surprised by this toy. I wasn't sure what I'd get at this pricepoint, but it doesn't feel cheaply made. The egg has some weight to it, and the plastic seems thick. I really like how easy it was to hold and operate the remote. My disappointment came in when it just didn't hit the right spots. It's advertised as being wide to stimulate the entire labia and that's definitely true. However, it sits kind of on top of everything, like a big ball. You can maneuver it so your lips are displaced a bit and there's more contact with inner labia and clit, but it's not earth-shattering. Personally, I think this will be much more fun to use on my partner. I'm really excited to see how he reacts. I'll update once I know :)

Very nice review. And nice color co-ordinated nail polish. I cringed when I read the part about having a light bulb stuck in you. Imagine telling that to the ER nurse.

Haha! That actually happened years ago when I worked in the ER! I have no idea why some people look at a random object and think "I bet I could fit this in my ass..." instead of just getting a toy made for that purpose!
