When this vibe arrived earlier than expected, I figured I could make a little time to take it on its first test drive. So I washed it a few times with some soap and warm water to make sure it was clean and get rid of its slightly unpleasant new smell. I popped in 2 AA batteries and turned it on. Only a moment into it, my friend called and said she was coming for a visit. I was a little bummed initially, but then I decided to test my new toy and see if it could give me a quickie. Sure enough, with literally only 30 seconds of concentration I was orgasming. Impressive, very impressive.

This Fun vibe is made from TPR Silicone, so it is easy to clean with some antibacterial soap, but you need to use water-based lube. The texture is pleasant, a bit more soft and flexible than 100% silicone. The purple color is bright but nice, unless you don't like purple. The almost 5" insertable end is a classic realistic design that curves at the end, but not enough for significant G-spot stimulation in my opinion. Its base has a strange ribbed texture that is meant to provide a strong grip. So you don't have to worry about not having a strong hold on this toy.

This toy packs a nice punch because the material carries the vibes well and the motor is located at the tip, which is preferable. The dial is located on the base and with about one full rotation brings you from milder vibes to moderately strong vibrations. I found the vibes to be good for clitoral stimulation but didn't notice anything extraordinary from insertion. The whole toy is waterproof, a nice bonus.

I would actually give this vibe a 3.5 for Vroom, because it's definitely stronger than something like the LayaSpot, but not quite a 4.

The Fun Vibes has continued to treat me well. With its nice, but somewhat standard shape, size and vibration, It has taken the position of traditional vibrator in my collection. It's my go-to toy when I just want one thing for both insertion and vibration.

The material has held up well, and its batteries are not even running low yet; granted I only use it once every week or so. Now that I have a decent collection in my toy box, the wear and tear of each toy has gone down to insignificant levels. I was pleasantly surprised by the TPR silicone. Although it does not have as high of a safety rating as pure silicone, it cleans well and has a nice feel. Plus, its initial off smell went away after a couple of rinses.

Overall, I would still recommend this as a good, solid traditional vibrator. I especially recommend it as a fun and versatile first toy.
