Stoya's Deep Sea Adventure by Digital Playground is an ornately designed version of the classic rabbit vibrator. Although similar in design to typical dual stimulation vibes, there's nothing ordinary about this sex toy. This vibrator is part of the new sex toy line based on the popular Pirates movies and with its jeweled and skull adorned appearance, it looks as if it could have been pulled right out of the films. This vibrator features a curved tip for g-spot stimulation, four rows of rotating beads and a sword swallowing skull for clitoral stimulation. As with most dual stimulation vibes, this vibrator will not work as intended for all users or all body types. However, it has a little bit of everything, so even if it doesn’t work as intended most users should still be able to enjoy the vibrator.

The embellishments on this vibrator aren't merely for decoration but also add a great deal of texture to the design of the toy. Stoya's Deep Sea Adventure may be a little too much for some users, because of it's girth, texture and vibrational intensity. However, with some lube and possibly some warm up with another toy before use, this vibrator should please many users. The Deep Sea Adventure can be used for solo play or with a partner. Since this vibrator could be considered daunting by some, it's a good idea to be vocal about how insertion feels if you decide to use this vibe with a partner.

The Deep Sea Adventure is made out of smooth TPE. The material is slightly squishy which makes insertion a little more comfortable than if it was made out of a harder material like plastic or glass. Although the material feels squishy, the body of the vibrator is quite firm. The Deep Sea Adventure can be bent slightly at the tip in any direction but besides that, it's firmness ensures that it retains it's shape when thrusting. TPE is phthalates free, latex free and Hypo-allergenic. TPE is a porous material, so if you plan on sharing this vibe, a condom is recommended. The TPE had a slight odor when the packaging was first opened, like new plastic, but the smell quickly dissipated with use and several washes.

The Deep Sea Adventure is covered in textured designs that are quite noticeable upon insertion. Applying lots of lube to the vibrator makes the texture less intense. Users who aren't fond of texture may want to avoid this vibrator, because even with lube the texture is noticeable.

The handle is made out of plastic with a smooth coating that feels velvety. The coating feels similar to “rubber cote” however it's just listed as plastic in the product information. Since the handle is made out of plastic it is harder than the rest of the vibrator. The control buttons are slightly squishy and feel similar to the rubber buttons on a TV remote.

It's evident when looking at the Deep Sea Adventure that a great deal of time went into it's design. Both the TPE and plastic areas are a dark purple color. The insert-able TPE portion of the vibrator is covered in intricate designs of swirls, dots, tear drop shapes and skulls. The tip is curved for g-spot stimulation and covered in textured nubs. Right below the curved tip is a slightly translucent area where four rows of rotating beads can be seen through the TPE. The Deep Sea Adventure has a length of 9 3/4 inches with an insertable length of 5 inches and a diameter of 1 5/8 inches. This vibrator could be considered on the larger side, so it may not be for all users and may require some warm up for those who decide to give it a try. The clitoral stimulator is a large skull that protrudes from the shaft right above the plastic handle. The skull has the hilt of a sword sticking out of it's mouth. The clit stimulator is flexible and allows the user to maneuver it for a more comfortable fit.

The plastic handle has two rows of gold colored gems at the top. The handle is covered in flowery designs that are a lighter purple than the rest of the vibe. Directly below the clitoral stimulator are the three buttons that control the vibrator. The buttons are arranged in a circular shape with the power button in the middle and the buttons for the shaft rotation and clitoral intensity on the sides. The side buttons have raised nubs to distinguish which button you are pressing. The clitoral vibration button has one nub while the rotation button has two nubs. The nubs are nice, because you can tell which button you are pressing without looking at them.

At the bottom of the handle is a ridged cap that untwists to open the battery compartment. The bottom of the cap has the Digital Playground logo and name and three gold hearts with skulls in the middle. The cap twists off to reveal an o-ring that makes the vibrator splash proof. The four AAA batteries that power the vibrator fit into a little clear plastic piece which slides into two little tracks and into the battery compartment. The tracks ensure that the plastic insert can only be placed inside the battery compartment the correct way.

This vibrator isn't very discreet, because of it's large size, color and shape. When placed in the included storage bag it becomes a little more discreet, however it's large size will probably still draw attention to it. When placed in the storage bag it can easily be packed for travel.

The Deep Sea Adventure is controlled by three buttons. The middle circular button is the power button and has the sole purpose of turning the vibrator on and off. The left button cycles through the seven clitoral stimulator functions. Although these buttons are placed in the middle of the handle, they require a good push, so most users shouldn't have an issue with accidentally pressing the buttons during use. The seven options are: low, medium, high, three different types of pulses and a roller coaster option. The button on the left cycles through the five functions of the beads and shaft rotation. The five options are: low, medium, high, slow rotation and a faster rotation option. The only downfall to the buttons is that they only scroll through the functions in one direction, so if you pass over the one you like you'll have to cycle through them all again. Also, the shaft vibration and clitoral vibration must both be used at the same time. There isn't an option to use the clit stimulator or shaft on its own.

The rotation of the beads is much more noticeable than the rotation of the tip. When looking at the vibrator the tip only wiggles slightly, while the beads are visibly churning. The vibrations of the clit stimulator are strong and buzzy even on the lowest setting. Users who are sensitive to stronger vibrations may want to avoid this vibrator. The vibrations can be felt strongly throughout the entire vibrator. Considering how strong the vibrations are the vibrator is quite quiet. The sound of the vibrator may be audible through covers, but shouldn't be heard through a closed door.

This vibrator has an o-ring, however the packaging states that it's merely "splash proof." It would probably be best to trust the packaging and not submerge this vibe in water.

Since the Deep Sea Adventure is made out of TPE it's fairly easy to clean. It can be washed with anti bacterial soap and warm water or with toy cleaner. If it requires some extra cleaning it can be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution. Since this vibrator is covered in texture, lube is recommended. Silicone and water based lubes can be used with this vibe. TPE is a slightly sticky material, so you might want to wash it before use to make sure that no unwanted particles hop a ride to your private parts. Storing it in the included bag should help to keep most unwanted particles off of it.

The Deep Sea Adventure came packaged in a clear plastic box with a flat backing covered in pictures. The front has a picture of Stoya clad in her costume from the Pirates movies in front of a background of the sea. The back of the box has information about the vibrator, pictures of other products in the line and an advertisement for the Pirates movies. Although the packaging isn't worth hanging onto, the Deep Sea Destroyer also comes with a satin bag for storage. The satin bag is black on the outside, pink on the inside and features a drawstring closure.

I've never had much luck with dual stimulation toys, but for some reason this one worked for me. Perhaps it's the odd shape of the clitoral stimulator that fit my anatomy? Whatever the case, this has quickly become my go to dual stimulation vibe. Plus, it's the prettiest vibrator I've ever seen. The designs are even prettier in person than in the pictures.
