Romeo by California Exotic

When I get a toy in the mail, my first impulse is to rip open whatever packaging surrounds the toy, pop in batteries, and go to town.  Romeo came in a beautiful box...with scientific diagrams on the side.  Immediately I had the feeling that this was a quality product, even though I hadn't tried it yet. 

 After washing the unit, I put the batteries in and was pleased to find that the battery casement fit the batteries snuggly.  I had no concerns that this waterproof sex toy would zap me in the shower.  I was also pleased to find that, when I turned the Romeo onto its highest setting, it was no louder than the gentle hum of my computer. 

 I was exceptionally pleased with this product.  Its slim design works well for storing (the mesh bag is cheaply made though) or packing it away in luggage.  The slimness of the vibe also meant that it slid into me easily and I didn't need any more lubrication than what a few passes of the Romeo over my clit could provide.

 And once it was inside, I became an addict.  First, in the shower, I slid it inside and reclined in the tub, letting the water from the shower sprinkle onto my clit.  It was absolute heaven.  The vibrations could be felt all along the unit, from hook to handle.  Twisting the unit back and forth and rotating it around a bit added to the buzzing internal massage and had me biting my lip to keep my bliss from echoing in the bathroom and disturbing the neighbors.  Standing up was a chore because my legs turned to gelatin with the power of my orgasm.

An hour later, I tried it again, out of the shower.  It worked just as well, though I kept needing to pull it out to get some clitoral stimulation.  The ridge along the center of the Romeo really helped to add strong sensation to my vaginal opening when I moved the vibe in or out.  I haven't tried it yet, but I'm betting the Romeo would be fantastic for anal play.  The Romeo isn't big, so it wouldn't require much prep, and the central ridge and g-spot hook would give good anal stimulation.

 Another big plus for the Romeo; after prolonged use, the unit didn't overheat. 

 The one downside of the Romeo is that the twist bottom isn't grooved well enough to allow easy turning in the shower.  I had to hold it pretty tightly in order to ramp up the vibrations at the final moment.  On its dry run, the Romeo was easier to adjust, but as I got wetter and wetter, twisting the dial became more and more difficult.

 Overall, the Romeo is a five star product.  You absolutely won't get a better product in this price range.

Romeo has become my favorite travel vibe.  It's light, doesn't weigh down my suitcase, and the shape is unassuming enough not to garner the "what is that in your luggage, ma'am" look that stowing a more realistic-looking vibrator in my bag tends to earn.  I can also sneak the Romeo into the shower with me during business trips and my suite-mate is none the wiser.

After three months, the vibrations are still strong and the battery case is still tight as a virgin ass.  Coincidentally, I tried the Romeo out as an anal toy and it didn't do much for me [Editor's Note: This toy doesn't have a flared base, and we don't recommend it for safe anal play].  The buzzing of the vibrations was good, but it simply wasn't big enough to provide much fun for me as a thrusting toy.  Still, as a G-spot toy it's a nice staple to have and is my standby for morning pick me ups.
