G-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson
The Wave G-spot Vibe has several features that make it an attractive choice for a G-spot vibe. It’s made of a completely firm jelly material that allows for effective pressure on your sensitive spots. It is also extremely quiet—even on its highest setting, this vibe was nearly silent. It’s long and easy to maneuver thanks to a generous handle area, but not as thick as most vibes of its length. The G-spot ball head and the clitoral stimulator are both covered with firm nubs to provide extra stimulation.
On the down side, I found The Wave moderately uncomfortable to insert because of the very firmness of the nubs on the larger G-spot stimulator head--to put it bluntly, they kind of hurt on the way in. Once in place, however, I found the vibe to be comfortable and rather enjoyable. The motor is not overly powerful, but it is positioned over the clitoral region for maximum stimulation. The unique shape of the vibe also allows it to stay positioned once you put it in place; I didn’t find the need to fiddle around and move this one to have a good time, and I didn’t have to worry about holding it in place or accidentally squeezing it out.
The Wave doesn’t offer any bells and whistles; the hand-held wired controller provides 4 speeds of vibration and doesn’t offer any pulsation or escalation. This was ok with me, since I’m primarily interested in power, but might be a drawback for those who enjoy different vibration patterns. The Wave also relies on a single motor to power its entire generous length; the addition of a second motor in the G-spot stimulator would have made this toy much more intense, though probably a lot louder.
Overall, The Wave’s unique shape and well-placed clit stimulator gave me an enjoyable experience, despite some difficulty in insertion; use a lot of lube. It’s not as fancy as some vibes out there, but it hit all the right spots on me and was powerful enough to take me over the edge several times.
