Use

Gigi is a welcomed addition to my toy collection and has even taken over the number one spot which was occupied my by Fairy Mini. Being made of silicone, she is very smooth to the touch, allowing her to easily glide along your skin. The angle of the head allows for either great G-spot stimulation (alone or with a partner) or anywhere else you might want to use her. I found that the flat part of the tip was great for clitoral stimulation; actually almost perfect for it for me.

She is not too big, so inserting her into the vagina for G-spot play should not scare the beginner and yet, still satisfy the more adept users. The pulsating patterns are so varied that you should be able to find one to suite your needs, whether it be one to take you over the edge or slowly make you climb the "orgasm" hill before plunging you down the other side. There are even patterns to "tease" you; yes, just take you to the brink before backing off and then doing it again.

Gigi also has several levels of intensity, from the lightest vibration to some pretty intense ones. The highest intensity vibrations are not the super fast "numbing" ones that you find in some vibrators, but the strong-deep-fast ones that really do the trick.

I have used Gigi for solo play and with my husband, and for me I prefer my husband to use it. But she sure does the trick for solo play getting the job done fast and skillfully.

Material / Texture

Gigi is so smooth you won't believe it. The silicone shaft is the safest material for toys, being it is food-grade material, 100% non-porous, phthalate-free, latex-free, hypo-allergenic, odorless, tasteless, and a cinch to keep clean!

Gigi is made for anyone, beginners to advanced users!
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

Gigi has an almost perfect design: a smooth, angled head makes it easy to find your own G-spot, ergonomic handle does not "cramp" your hands from holding it, controls light up for ease of use in the dark, silicone shaft and hard plastic handle.

The design of Gigi, makes it super easy for beginners to find their G-spot. It doesn't matter if you prefer thrusting or just the vibrations for G-spot stimulation, she gives you both! She is not too short or too long, in my opinion, and the controls are easy to reach.

Gigi can be used for clitoral stimulation quite well or anywhere else you want her to go, because she is not too big to fit into tight places, nor is she too small to find those places!

Functions / Performance / Controls

I love the fact that Gigi is rechargeable! Hour and half of charging and she is ready for two hours of play which is more than some batteries last! I have used her over an hour and half at one time and never felt a change in power from the first time I turned her on until I shut her off. The cord plugs into the bottom of the handle and that is covered by a piece of rubber when not in use, like a cell phone has to cover where the USB attaches when you are not charging it. I really like the fact that the plug-in for the adapter is covered when you aren't charging so it does not get dirty; I'm sure this little extra that Lelo provides helps prolong the life of Gigi.

The controls are located on the handle in a spot that is easy to reach, no matter what you are doing. The controls remind me more of a cross-shaped game controller more than traditional buttons. The control pad lights up when you activate it, making it easy to see which direction you are pushing it in the dark. The pad does "lock" so just bumping the pad will not change it, but if you press down on it, it does change easily. The up and down directions control the patterns and the sides control the intensity. My only complaint is that it does not cycle through the patterns, it goes so far and you have to switch directions to get back to ones you passed instead of just pushing in one direction to reach the pattern you want. That is just a personal preference for me, not a design flaw of Lelo's.

The patterns are really awesome. There is the standard steady vibration, pulsing ones and ones that change in intensity, and combinations of both together. I have had other vibrators that had more than one pattern, but the ones on Gigi were made with some thought put into them. All the patterns are worth trying out, as they all rock!

Gigi has wonderful vibrations. Some vibrators seem to have really fast vibrations that just make you "numb", not Gigi. Her vibrations have a deep-fast intensity to them that is really nice. I came from using a "plug in massage wand (Fairy Mini)", so I was afraid that the vibrations on Gigi would not compare to the ones I was used to; I was wrong. I very much enjoy the vibrations from Lelo more than the ones from the wand massager.

There is hardly a noise with Gigi, even at the highest intensity setting. With the tv on LOW or a fan running, you can practically hear nothing. Even heavy breathing drowns the sound of the vibrations out!

Care and Maintenance

Being made of silicone, Gigi is extremely easy to keep clean. A little antibacterial soap and water or toy cleaner does the job! She cleans up beautifully. As I mentioned before, where the power cord attaches there is a little rubber cover that keeps that part clean, and the rest wipes clean easily.

Water-based lubricants should only be used with Gigi. Silicone-based lubricants are not usually recommended for use with sex toys or other products that are made from silicone because the formula may dissolve the surface making it sticky to the touch and cause disintegration of the item over time. This damage may create a breeding ground for bacteria.

Gigi comes with her own little "black Bag" for storing, making her very discreet. She easily fits into a drawer or other small compartment for easy hiding!
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Gigi came to me in a very tastefully designed box, just the picture of her on the front. There were instructions inside in several languages, the charging cord, bag for storage, and a sample of Lelo's own lubricant.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Minimal

Personal comments

I am on depression and anxiety medication, have been for over 15 years, so I need a little more to get me to orgasm than when I was not on medication, so weak little vibrators are not for me. I have put up my Fairy Mini link and replaced it with Gigi, never thought I would do that. I did not think that Gigi would give me the intense orgasms that my Fairy did, but this is so much better. I don't have to worry about all the friction that the Fairy caused with the high vibrations or the noise.

Experience

I am totally Ga-ga for Gigi. This is by far the best vibrator, G-spot stimulator I have ever used. I love the feel of her, the silicone makes it possible to use her without lubrication which makes things not quite so messy or slippery. This is definitely going to get a lot of use, being as we have 2 kids and she is soooo quiet.

actually though i'm working on my review right now- yes for internal stimulation it was a bit uncomfortable unless i rocked it against my pubic bone. I can only take like 4 max 5 inches inserted and though i was initially drooling over the shape on the tip it felt the same as when you're having sex and your cervix gets bruised- except it wasn't against my cervix. its quite hard and has little give to it though the silicone is quite nice. I used it more on my clit and she seemed to enjoy the vibrations(shrug)

    • How easy is the Gigi- G Spot Vibrators to use during sex?
    • I think it's more of a solo toy. You should look at the We vibes.

I think it works pretty well for this purpose. I use it simultaneously with a dildo all the time. Is it the best for this purpose? I would say you'd be better off using a smaller vibrator such as the Lelo Siri which is another personal favorite of mine during piv sex. Although it is pretty easy to use the Gigi. Works in all positions where your body isn't completely pressed against a surface or your partner's body. You'll need to give a little space in between you and your partner to fit the toy but it still works really well.

  • Lelo Gigi - Using a Condom or Not
    • I have recently bought the Gigi vibrator from LELO.

For my first use, I used a condom to cover the Gigi (the brand I used is Lifestyles Studded). After removing the condom, I noticed that the lubricant, from the inside the condom, left a kind of oily residue on the Gigi. I tried to use my toy cleaner to remove it, but I am slightly worried

I am worried that the lubricant from this condom is not water-based. Now, I have a few questions that I was unable to research answers to.

      1) Was the condom I used water-based?
      2) Have I ruined my new Gigi?
      3) Is it best to use a condom on the Gigi or not?

Any advice/help will be much appreciated.

      - Dr. Manhattan
    • From what I can find via Google, it looks like the lubricant in that condom isn't a silicone lubricant so it should be okay.

Lubricant Ingredients: Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenonip, Carbomer

I don't think you're ruined anything. If you're concerned you might want to try to find a different type of condom that leaves less residue. I have no suggestions because almost all condoms irritate me and since I'm fluid bonded with my partner we don't use them.

What would you recommend to clean the Gigi? I currently have a toy cleaner called "Swiss Navy."

Will using soap and water be bad for the Gigi? At least just for the silicone part of the vibrator?

  • is jt worth it
    • Is the product worth the price ????
    • I'm pretty sure we answered a similar set of questions about the pros and cons of expensive vibrators.
    • Quote: Is the product worth the price ????
Absolutely!! I bought mine a couple years ago after (literally) melting my previous one. Between the cost of having to replace my vibrators and the batteries constantly, I went for it and have no regrets!! Gigi is a regular part of our sex life! However, I use it only for cliteral stimulation (which works for me) so I can't speak if you are interested in G-spot usage.
The one drawback is I've found that I tend to hit the speed controls during use. Otherwise, the warranty is great (though i've never had one problem with it), it's easy to keep clean and store, and I LOVE that it's rechargable.
      Enjoy!

I highly recommend the Gigi for G-spot play. It's firm enough to stimulate it with the amount of pressure needed, but velvety enough to not be too much. Additionally the vibration settings I found to be ideal for pressing against my G-spot. Just have a towel ready!
    • Quote: I'd like to try a g-spot vib, but i dont know if this should be the one to buy...Any comments?
I would recommend the Gigi for g-spot play. I will point out though that if you have a g-spot that is on the further side in terms of depth in the vagina, or if like me your vaginal canal has a sharp curve to it then you should look for a toy that is longer than the Gigi. I love the Gigi as a clitoral vibrator but based on my anatomy it didn't do much for me as a g-spot stimulator. Take your anatomy into consideration before you buy a toy for g-spot play. If you are like me and think you'll need a more lengthy toy try the G-Spot Pink glass stimulator. I'm currently working on a review for that toy and it is a personal favorite of mine.

So uh, my gf lives across the pond in England and I wanted to get a little something to bring her next I go visit.

She really likes the use of the Gigi vibrator but I'm worried about the charging of the toy, I learned to be wary of such things when I blew out the power to my Wii :X

But anyways, if anyone who has one could kindly take a look at the allowed voltages I would really appreciate it. The voltage info can usually be found on the charger itself ( a bunch of random numbers and such and has that UL logo ) Does it list the Input as 100V-240V or just something around 100V?

      Thanks!

They're good for 100-240V. I charged mine while living abroad just fine.
    • The charger I have with mine has the 100V-240V range.

You might also look at getting a charger specifically for using the Gigi in England.

    • My 22nd birthday is coming up which means birthday monies <3 I'm trying to see if I can orgasm with my gspot but haven't had any luck. I've been close but no beans yet. I'm debating getting this to see if it'll work for me, plus I'm trying to go off birth control, it's made my sex drive completely dissappear after 2 years of being on it, not to mention making me depressed, moody, etc.

Anyway, would this be recommended? Where's the vibration, though? More in the shaft towards the buttons or more at the tip? And is it plenty strong? (I need strong vibrations.)

I'll have to order at a time my dad won't be home, though, and make sure it arrives when he's at work--how embarassing it'd be for me for him to find out I have toys!

  • is the gigi a good starter g-spot vibe?
    • My friend Lee's birthday is coming up and ever since I told her about female ejaculation and what it is and that I can do it, she's been trying to find everything about it and is really interested in a g-spot vibrator, but she doesn't really like the way most vibrators feel with vibrations. To her, they feel like an "Oh, there's something vibrating in my ladyparts but it's doing nothing for me." So, my question is, is the Gigi different in that sense that the vibrations have some "variety" to them and they're not so monotonous? I'd love to get her the Gigi for her birthday and have heard nothing but great things about it.

My Gigi is on its way, so I'm not much help there... Although, whenever I read about female ejaculation the Ella is usually involved.

It doesn't vibrate, but you may want to check it out.

Miss KissThis totally beat me to the punch! If it has to vibrate and you want to be able to use it for clitoral stimulation, Gigi is great. But if you're on a lower budget and only want g-spot stimulation, the Ella is one of this forum's favorite dildos.

  • Best G-spot vibrator. Which one to pick?
    • Rachell25
LELO has presented a couple of very well designed G-spot vibrators, like Gigi, Liv and Elise, lately. Just looking at them makes me feel horny. They all have great features and different vibration modes and they are also rechargeable, so I can safe my money on batteries.
Gigi seems to be the toy of my dreams due to its well pronounced curved tip. I guess that will lead to a better contact with my G-spot.
Any ideas, suggestions, tips? Anything will do.

PS: Will Gigi make me squirt???
    • Rainbow
Wow... that looks really splendid, in fact, all of them do.
It looks like it's going to be my G-spot's best friend for ages.

That must be a bargain but it is kind of expensive for me at the moment but as soon as I can afford one I will surely have one in my toy box.
    • Siren
My dear, not every woman is able to "squirt", it depends on every woman's physiology but it is definitely going to send you to Seven's Heaven of Pleasure.
I own one, the Liv, and it's just terrible, in the good meaning of the word.
I can assure you, you made a perfect choice if you're looking for G-spot stimulation.
