Once again, Fun Factory has come through for me by producing yet another high quality and exciting toy! This Galan G-spot vibrator reminds me a lot of Fun Factory's Patchy Paul, without the little curved caterpillar head. It is extremely similar in size and effect.
Galan also has a slightly curved tip, but lacks the face design that Patchy Paul has; in that sense, it is a bit less "animated." Less like a cartoon and more masculine; Galan is out to give you a wicked-good orgasm, not out to play nice. The body of the toy has attractive grooves that, to be honest, I am not sure if I can really feel inside me; but it sure looks cool. I'm not sure which I prefer, Galan or Patchy Paul; in terms of performance I found them to be nearly identical.
Galan is made of silicone, so that gives it an A+ for cleanliness. It also gets big points in the quiet department for discretion. Galan is the perfect size; not too big and not too small. One thing I love about Fun Factory is the fact they always throw in some free samples of lube with their products; this is a perfect way to experiment with all the different varieties (toyfluid or bodyfluid) without breaking the bank.
One thing I learned during this round of reviewing is this: do not (I repeat, DO NOT) use rechargeable batteries with your vibrator. I guess this may be common knowledge to some, but I was thinking I'd do my part for the environment by recycling and then finally figured out why my toys were not nearly as powerful as usual...for some reason the rechargeable batteries just do not perform like the disposables. So I suppose I'll have to conserve in other ways. =(
I'm going to end this review with a little SAT-question-like statement: Fun Factory is to sex toys as Apple is to computers: sexy and different, unique and energetic. You can always count on them to deliver high tech, cutting edge designs and technology. I never hesitate to buy products from this consistently superb brand. I give Galan 4 stars all around.

Masculine? What the hell? It's a goddamn vibrator, it isn't gendered.
But other than that, good review.
Nice tip on the rechargable batteries. I've thought about using them too but, now I know it's better to stick with disposables!
Don't use rechargeable? That's all I use! I've never noticed any difference in performance of nonrechargeables and rechageables.
The reason why rechargables don't power your toys as strongly is because they are generally only 1.2 volts versus 1.5 for disposables. That's a big difference when you think that it's another 20%. I just got this one for my wife for Christmas. I can't wait to see what she says when she opens it up, and I'm definately curious to see what she thinks of it. Great review!
can this be immersed in water? the description mentioned the shower, but I've got access to a jacuzzi as well....
