Gee whiz - vibrator accessory discontinued by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Bulma

When I placed my order for the fabled (and totally awesome) Hitachi Magic Wand, I had my heart set on a couple attachments to go with it. I was planning on getting the “Off With Their Head|Off with their head silicone hitachi cap” and the “Gee Whizzard|Gee whizzard.” I thought the little bumps and ridges of the Gee Whizzard looked very lovely and stimulating. I waited until the next day before I placed my order, and they were all sold out! I had waited too long and missed my opportunity. Pretty upset over it, I ordered the Gee Whiz|Gee whiz instead and hoped for the best.

The Gee Whiz is made by Vixen Creations and is 100% silicone. I share this toy with my husband, so being able to sterilize it is a great plus for us. You can do this three ways; by boiling for 3-5 minutes, dishwasher on the top rack with no soap, or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. Also note that silicone lube is not recommended on silicone toys as there is a good chance it will melt your toy. If you want to test it, do a spot test in an inconspicuous area and it if becomes sticky you know it is not compatible. I would recommend that you use a good water based lube to be safe and not risk ruining your toy. I like to use Maximus|Maximus Lubricant Review as it is thick and works great for everything besides oral (due to a bitter taste) but your favorite water based lubricant will work well too.

This fits on the Hitachi original head easily and seems to stay in place pretty well. I have never had it slip off during use. I did find that it toned down the vibrations a little bit, but they are still super strong. The sleeve can get pretty loud though, if it gets at kind of a weird angle and will sound different. I do not own an Ideal massager|Ideal Massager, but this will fit it too. I imagine it would work the same on both of these massagers.

I found it easy to clean as silicone usually is. You can wash it with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner; I use Before and After. Hair, lint, and pet hair sticks to this like a son of a gun, so take measures and store it away from these things. I still keep mine in the plastic tube that it came in, but a plastic bag would work as well. This is also important for keeping it from touching (and melting into) other silicone toys.

I have to be honest, when I held the Gee Whiz in my hands, I really wasn’t impressed. Sure the blue swirled throughout the clear Silicone looked lovely, and it was smooth and felt nice, but my heart was still broken over its ribbed and bumpy brother. I set it aside and ignored it for a few days. About 3 days had passed when I finally decided to give it a try. I found it too floppy to be very good for thrusting, and frankly the weight of the Hitachi is just awkward for this use. Disappointed I cleaned it and put it back in its Vixen Creations tube that it came in. Sometime the next week, I was looking for something a little more unusual than my regular dildo and vibrator combo, and decided to give my Gee Whiz one last try.

I sat on the edge of the bed, not turned on, not expecting anything to happen. I pushed the Gee Whiz easily onto the head of the Hitachi and flipped the switch to Low. It slid easily into place and I crammed it against myself hard. Whoa! What was different? Last time it hadn’t felt like this! I tried to use it just for thrusting before, and never actually got that lovely little ridge against my clit. I just sat there in amazement as the Hitachi powered through the silicone and brought me to an unexpected, but very welcome, orgasm. I sat there trying to catch my breath. Okay, maybe the Gee Whiz isn’t so bad after all. I moved to the middle of the bed and sat on the Hitachi, plus sleeve, and began rocking on it ever so slightly. The smoothness felt lovely against my skin and the curve was perfect for reaching my G-spot. It wasn’t long before I achieved orgasm again, leaving me trembling in its wake.

So I guess the Gee Whiz wasn’t a failure after all. In fact I love its delightful smoothness. What I loathed about it in the beginning has turned into my favorite feature. The smoothness of the shaft also means that this toy feels wonderful anally. My husband won’t normally go near the Hitachi, but with this attachment, he is able to enjoy it just as much as I am. He sits on it and rocks (quite similarly to how I use it actually) and it provides very powerful prostate stimulation. The smooth shaft and curve is loved by him for this use. All you guys that think the Hitachi|Hitachi magic wand vibrator/massager is a girl only toy, do yourself a favor and get this attachment.
