Gentle on the G-spot

The Bubbly is a versatile toy in more than one way. It can be used on dry land or in the tub or shower. And if it fails to give deliver a G-spot orgasm, it works equally as well (if not better for some users) as a clitoral vibrator.

extremely useful review
The Bubbly Toyfriend comes from the Swedish designer, Tickler LTD., and is one of several similar styles in the line. This particular hot pink model is designed to primarily stimulate the G-spot; however, don't let that deter you from using it on other erogenous areas, other than within the anus, as it's not ideally shaped for that kind of exploration. It's one of the best designs that I felt was safe enough to experiment with in both the shower and tub. Since its vibrations are only moderate, you may want to avoid it if you are looking for something much stronger, but it's still worth taking a look at if you are curious about the elusive G-spot orgasm.

MATERIAL
A velvety smooth, body-safe, buttery-soft silicone covers the entire surface of the toy. It's neither sticky nor slippery and does not attract lint. All components are firm, save for the small neck portion just below the largest bubble, which flexes for easier insertion and for comfort of movement during playtime, which essentially allows the toy to adapt better to each individual anatomy. There's absolutely no smell or taste to the material.

DESIGN
Batteries inserted (and they are included with this toy for a quick start), the Bubbly weighs just 6 ounces. It's 8 inches long, with a diameter of roughly 1-1/4 inches for the main handle and the largest bubble. A rough estimate for insertion would therefore be anywhere from 3-5 inches depending on the depth of an individual's G-spot which will vary a little person to person. If someone wants to gently explore beyond that area and deeper in to the vagina, it's certainly possible, but keep in mind that the design is not thrust-friendly.

Basically, the "bubbly" portion consists of three graduated sizes of firm balls/"bubbles" attached to the main shaft/handle by an angled, flexible neck. The company name, "tickler", is etched in to the side of the handle and just below that, in the remaining lower 1-1/4 inches of the toy, is the twist off cap concealing the battery compartment and the function pad.

FUNCTIONS
The pressure activated function pad is located on the very bottom of the battery cap for easy one-touch operation. It's slightly domed, so the toy cannot sit upright without the included clear plastic holder. To turn the toy on, just press firmly once and continue to press to cycle through the 5 different modes. To shut off, just hold it down for a few seconds. There's no up or down, so you have to go through all modes to go back to a favorite. The modes are as follows:

- high speed
- lower speed (feels like an average medium speed to me)
- slow pulsation
- medium rate of pulsation
- fastest rate of pulsation, like a tapping.

The intensity is decent and the vibrations (located in the main shaft) carry well throughout the entire toy. It's also quiet, which makes it suitable for complete discretion.

CARE
Silicone is only compatible with a water-based lubricant. Cleaning the Bubbly is super easy by washing it with antibacterial soap and warm water. The design makes it impossible to stand on its base, which is why a friendly clear plastic holder is included if you don't mind leaving your toys out or if you have a special shelf for them. Just be sure to take out the batteries before placing it in the holder as the pressure pad can be activated if you push it down too firmly. Or you can just hold on to the paper packaging which holds a plastic clamshell in which to store the toy. A small color pamphlet shows the full line of Toyfriends.
Experience
My G-spot is a funny little spot. Sometimes it's responsive to stimulation and other times isn't. Some toys have hurt it, others just missed it completely. The Bubbly hit it spot on and didn't hurt at all, but I can't say that it did anything special for me either other than make me horny enough to cum when I concentrated the vibrations on my clitoris instead. I was impatient and proper g-spot stimulation leading to orgasm takes lots of practice. I'll certainly give it another go though!
Follow-up commentary
It worked a few times for me, then I just lost interest in it altogether. I'm a rabbit vibrator person, so this style just doesn't appeal to me as much. It didn't impress me enough to want to use it anymore.
