Flexi slim pink pearl - traditional vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Destri

In real life, the Flexi Slim Pink Pearl Vibrator looks exactly like the photo. It is a nice slim vibe with a cute little raised line going around it. It comes with two sets of batteries, which is good because the N type is not a battery I keep around. It was easy to put the batteries in, which is a big plus in my book (I have gotten toys where it practically took an engineer to figure out). Okay, all ready to go!

The ad says this vibe has 10 different vibrator settings. I have to admit, I couldn't distinguish 10 different modes, but I did count at least 7. I suspect that some of the differences are very subtle between one mode and another. This leads me to one of the two things about this vibe I thought could have been better. To turn on the vibrations, to change between the modes and then, to turn the vibrations off, you have to push on a bump located on the end of the twist-on cap where the batteries are located. It takes some real concentrated pushing to activate that button. And once you have it on, the only way to turn it off, short of just unscrewing the cap, is to cycle through all the modes. This takes longer than I care to spend just to turn a toy off. A nice 'on/off' button would be a very welcome addition to this toy.

Now, on to the flexing... the Flexi Slim does, indeed, flex to a myriad of different shapes. It is quite versatile, and easy to get into a shape that will allow you to stimulate any parts you want. Now, this leads the second thing I thought could have been better: If you press too hard on it, it will sometimes pop out of the shape you have it in. In other words, it doesn't hold the bends as tightly as I would have liked it to. If you are close to the magical moment and then, the toy suddenly pops out of the shape you have it in, you can lose your momentum.

Having said all that, I still think this is a nice little toy. If you don't press too hard, it will hold its shape, and the vibrations are intense and varied. I like its very slim shaft, and the material it is made of feels good and cleans up easily. I think it would be a fine addition to a toy box, and a fine starter vibe.

This one drives me nuts because it doesn't hold its position when you bend it. Very irritating when it pops back into the straight position.
