Gina's Flexi Vibe

I am happy with the Flexi Vibe. It's not the best that I've experienced, but it's definitely not the worst either.

Pros
The size and vibration seemed perfect for me at the moment.

The grinding sound of the spine and the material safety rating of 2.

When Gina's Flexi Vibe came in the mail, I opened the package to see what was in store. Unfortunately, I had to run to work, so I only got to open it up and look at it before I had to leave. Good size, good weight, this could be interesting. A few hours later, I got a text message from my husband, “your new toy intimidates me.” Apparently, he took the liberty of putting batteries in it and turning it on. I suppose it could be intimidating. I have mostly small vibes and bullets in my collection, so this is something quite new. And yes, there are little pieces of glitter inside the Flexi Vibe. It's very girly!

After putting some water-based lube on the toy, I turned it on. I do like how easy it is to control the speed of the vibrator. The dial to control the speed of the vibration is at the bottom of the toy, so it would be difficult to accidentally switch it off. I also like the battery compartment. No duct tape needed to keep this one closed (I have many issues with battery compartments, not sure why, but I always have). When put on the highest speed setting, I was able to have a good orgasm. The shaft of the toy is ribbed, which I thought added a bit more to the experience.

There are a few points about this toy that make me not like it enough to give it a higher rating. First, as its name suggests, it's flexible. The purple spine inside the toy moves much like that of a human spine. But, it makes a grinding noise when you bend it. You can hear the grinding noise over the buzz of the vibration, which almost killed it for me. It just sounds weird to me and I had a hard time getting over that. Although the text for the Flexi Vibe says that it will stay in the position you bend it to, that didn't seem to by my personal experience. The second point is that it's jelly. Eden Fantasys gives this material a safety rating of 2 because it can not be sterilized and because jelly is rather porous. Therefore, you should not share this toy unless you cover it with a condom.

The paper insert of this toy suggested you could use this for anal play. I am a total newbie in anal play, but I don't think you'd want to use this product for such activities, especially without a condom. Also, without a wide base for the toy, I don't know if it would be safe.
