Platinum jack rabbit - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by JessCee

The Platinum jack rabbit from Cal Exotics, or "Jack," as I call him, is intended for vaginal use. You can use only the rotation, only vibration, or a combination of both. So, this rabbit can be used to your own unique preferences. When fully inserted, the rotating beads in the shaft will provide stimulation for the outer opening of the vagina and the rotating shaft will aim to rub that G-spot. Meanwhile, the clitoral arm with the bullet inside will stimulate the clitoris. While this is the intended use, you can most certainly switch it up and insert the shaft anally with the use of a condom.

Jack is made of TPE. This TPE feels very similar to Jelly; only slightly more firm. Upon taking it out of the packaging it had a strong chemical odor that smelled identical to nail polish. After a quick wash this odor weakened, and the toy had no taste whatsoever. After washing 5-6 more times, the smell is now undetectable. There is a significant amount of drag to the material, so you may need to utilize a lubricant. TPE is compatible with any water or silicone lubricant. This material is also slightly sticky and attracts hair and lint like crazy! A quick wash/rinse before use will take care of this problem.

There is actually an adequate amount of texture provided by the beads bulge in the shaft. I don't feel the amount of texture would be too intense for most users. So, unless you know you absolutely do not like any texture whatsoever, you should be fine with this texture.

There ya go. Jack is designed just like any other good rabbit vibe out there; with a clitoral arm, a section of rotating beads in the shaft, and base with the control pad.

Shaft Probably my favorite part of Jack is his girthy size. For me, this is what makes Jack special compared to other rabbit vibrators. Circumferences- Head: 4 3/4" Shaft: 4 1/4" Beads bulge: 5" This toy will give you that feeling of being filled and will have a better chance of rubbing that G-spot with the rotating beads. Also, I think Jack will have a better chance making contact with deeper G-spots.

Clitoral arm: This clitoral arm is a 4" rabbit with a split ear design that sits 1 1/2" away from the shaft, but can easily be pushed to a 0 degree angle or pulled to a 90 degree angle. Seeing that this rabbit has so much flexibility, I would say this clitoral arm will be compatible with any anatomy. With this flexibility comes a loss of pressure that can be applied to the clitoris though, so this is something to keep in mind if you know you like a lot of pressure. It is also worth noting how much I love the ears. They are thick, but still flexible, and carry the vibrations from the bullet so, so well. The way the ears flap together with the vibrations from the bullet are poetic, really, and borderline hypnotic.



Rotating beads: The rotating beads are 6 sets of 3 beads. Each set is on its own metal track and this is the most effective method I have seen regarding rotating beads in the shaft of a vibrator. This bulge measures 5" in circumference.

Base/Control pad: The base is a metallic silver (or gold) plastic that measures 3 1/8" and houses the toy's control pad. This control pad is rather simple and features 5 buttons that are almost completely flush with the control pad. The buttons: "Rotation" ( + and - ) "Vibration" ( + and - ) and "Off" The control pad also features two rows of orange lights that will correspond to the level or pattern of vibration or rotation being used.

Jack has 3 steady vibration intensities and 4 patterns. Of course the first three are "Low, medium, and high" and let me just say... WOW! These are all very deep, rumbley vibrations that carry lightly throughout the entire toy. I know, it's yummy, right? I absolutely cannot take the high setting directly on my girly pearl, but low and medium do just fine. I'm not particularly fond of patterns of any kind, but I'll make an attempt to describe the four patterns.

My attempted explanation of the patterns:
1. vrrrrOOOOOM (one steady vibration increasing in intensity)
2. vroom-vroom-vroom (pulsating)
3. vroomvroomvroom (faster pulsating)
4. vroom-vroom-vroom VROOM (3 fast and 1 long pulsation)
The vibrations are very quiet... until you get to high... then the ears start flapping so hard against each other that it gets rather loud. You may be able to hear this setting through blankets, but not through a closed door.

You want to know what you can hear through a closed door? The rotating beads, that's what! I have no other complaint about the beads except for the noise of the motor. They are very powerful on the medium-high speeds and will not jam or stop when reasonable pressure (i.e. insertion into the vagina or contraction of kegel muscles) is applied. These beads have 6 speeds... and all I can really think to say is that it gets really fast!

In addition, Jack is also completely waterproof. I have tested and confirmed this. The battery compartment seals shut very tight and I cannot see a seam between the base and the control pad. I don't see either of these ever leaking water.

Conclusion:
This thing is powerful, and for good reason as it's running off of 4 AA batteries. You are getting a lot of power at the expense of having a higher noise level. Sometimes you can't have it all though, right? And besides, the noise is nothing too bad... it's comparable to a cell phone vibrating kind of loud on a table, if that makes sense. Overall, I LOVE Jack and he loves me back!

TPE is somewhat porous, so I suggest paying special attention to washing after each use with warm water and a toy cleaner or soap. In addition, a condom should be applied for use if you plan on sharing or using it anally. This will ensure you're not transferring any icky bacteria from your anus to your vagina... because let's face it, urinary tract infections and yeast infections are the creation of the devil himself and they're not fun... at all.

Also, because this toy attracts hair and lint, a quick rinse before use is always a good idea. You can store Jack in his original packaging or in a drawer. I have yet to find a pouch large enough for Jack, so I use a Ziploc bag and toss it into my drawer.

I have been totally in love with this rabbit for going on 3 years now! I got my first one when my fiance at the time was deployed to Iraq. After 2 years of pretty regular use, the rabbit died. I have been trying to find a rabbit vibrator to live up to this one ever since. So, a couple of weeks ago I just decided to buy another one. I wish it weren't made of TPE though, so I take 1/2 star rating from it for that. Also, the motor controlling the beads is moderately loud, so I take another 1/2 star there. With that being said, I'm extremely happy to have Jack back!!
