Upon opening the clam shell packaging it arrived in, glitz and glamor ensued. Golden luxury packed in a vibe? Possibly.
My initial reaction was a little underwhelmed. Yes, it's gorgeous. It's gold and it has a removable jelly nubbed sleeve. The controls are basic so you won't accidentally bump the function to something you were not expecting. Plus, it has a 9-volt battery included. Instead of the typical AA's, the 9-volt lasted a long time. It's a great concept. But it's also just a basic bullet, when the sleeve is off it isn't anything special... or is it?
The first chance I had, I put the 9-volt in and cranked it up. It packs a punch, no doubt. The fuctions switch from vibrating to a strong pulsating with the switch of a button.
Its downfall is that it gets HOT after long sessions. Within 3 minutes, it begins to get warm and before you know it, it's almost hot to the touch. For some this is a total plus, but for me it was a deal breaker.
It is loud, and it's not discreet. There is no way you would go unnoticed using this. It is ideal for solo play.
Using it during sex was not as fun as I would of liked it to be. It's so loud that it became disrupting. It's hard to hold on to due to the shiny, slick bullet. The sleeve liked to roll in half or slide off entirely.
During solo play, it was fine for a quick pick me up. There is no way to adjust the speed. But once it's on, it's on, loud and proud and it gets the job done.
Cleaning is a breeze, wipe it down with your basic toy cleaner. But keep in mind when the jelly sleeve is on, it's a dirt/lint/hair magnet. It's small enough to be neatly tucked away, making it discreet when turned off.

I would say more likely externally. It -could- be used internally but you'd have to rely on the cord to pull it out which puts a lot of stress on it. Some folks say you might pop it in a condom to pull on that which is a better idea. Vaginal (especially shallow) penetration is something I would personally be okay with but I think, even with a condom, anal penetration is a risk I wouldn't take.
