The Golden Screw of Love is a high quality, inexpensive glass vibrator. The glass adds a cooling sensation and the ribbing adds a different texture to your sexual play. I was excited to play with this vibe, and loved the cool, smooth, sensuous feeling of the glass.

This is a great women's solo or couple toy. The sensations of the head on your clitoris is very erotic and the ribbing gives you a very intense arousal when it is rubbed on your clitoris and labia. When I used it for penetration, the head teased my G-spot and got me ready for more within a few minutes. The ribs, however were very painful and I felt a scraping sensation that was very unpleasant in my vagina. I only use the head for internal stimulation and am very aroused by the feeling of cool smooth glass.

I would suggest this for intermediate to advanced users since it is very textured, a bit large and can be a painful experience internally. Beginners who like external stimulation would really like the Love, however, so do not overlook the possibilities.

The majority of the vibrator is borosilicate glass, or Pyrex. The shaft is a light, metallic soft yellow glass with a clear glass hand-wrapped texture. There is no taste or odor to the glass and it is very pleasing to look at.

The base is hard plastic and has a rubber push button in the bottom. The base is smooth and rounded and can be difficult to hold on to if lube gets on the surface.

The texture definitely adds to the stimulation, for me it was great for rubbing externally with the added sensations of the ribs. Internally, however, the ribs were a bit too much and I felt a light scraping sensation. The tip of the Love was excellent for teasing the G-spot, but any further and I hit the ribbing.

The texture is good for everyone from beginners to advanced users if careful and you like texture. The texture is one diagonally wrapped wrapped glass line going from top to bottom of the shaft. It is a 1/8" inch tall ridge.

I love the design of my 'Golden Screw'! It is a very compact, but large toy and has some interesting features. I am very glad vibrating glass toys are becoming available, this opens up a whole new sensory adventure. The resemblance to a screw is obvious when you look at the picture or vibrator, but the fun you can have is amazing.

I enjoyed the sensation of 'screwing' the vibe in, but removal was very painful no matter how I tried to remove it. Thrusting was out of the question. The texture is a corkscrew line of glass about an eighth of an inch deep that runs from the top of the base to a quarter inch below the shaft.

The head was nicely rounded on the tip, a bit bulbous in the middle and tapered immediately to the shaft. It was smooth and sensuous, but is a bit large at about 1 3/4 inches. The Love is about 6 inches long, and has about 4 1/2" that can be inserted. The shaft is only about 1 1/2" diameter, but has the corkscrew line which makes it 1 5/8" diameter. This is a short but chubby little screw. The size makes it easy to hide and travel with as long as you have it in a separate case that is not see through. There is no mistaking the purpose of this little buddy when someone sees it. Again, I recommend this for intermediate to advanced users.

The control for the vibration is on the very bottom of the base. It is a small rubber button that has the number 3 on it, referencing the different speeds - Slow, Medium and Fast. You push it in for each speed adjustment and there is a slight pause before the next speed kicks in, which I found to be a bit frustrating. I like continuous changes to keep my arousal level climbing.

The vibrations are stronger in the shaft by just a bit, however the glass really disburses the vibrations strongly throughout the usable area. There is some minor vibration in the handle, but that is to be expected. You can not hear this toy when you are about two-three feet away! This has to be one of the quietest vibrators ever! The power of the vibrations were seriously lacking, I expected them to be about the strength of a normal three-speed vibrator. Some people are more sensitive and would love the vibrations this Love offers.

This toy is waterproof, but the battery compartment seal seems a bit weak to me and I would not try it in the water. This could just be the specific one I have, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Glass toys are non-porous and easily sterilized. Wash thoroughly with soap and water, I used an old toothbrush to clean the cracks where the swirled texture line is pressed onto the glass. Be careful where the base attaches, I don't trust the seal to be waterproof. I always wipe them down with toy sanitizer for added cleanliness. Do not place in boiling water, sudden temperature changes will break the glass.

Be careful not to drop or bang your vibrator against something hard and always check for cracks. I store this toy in a foam padded box that was meant for a jewelery set.

Glass is compatible with oil, water and silicone based lubes. I, personally, always use water based lube for easy clean up.

The plastic box is very pretty, if not overly discrete. The front has a pretty heart, swirls and scroll design with a clear vibrator shaped window which displays the Love vibrator. It is a very pretty package design, but even with the clear formed package insert, it is not sturdy enough to store the toy long term.

This would make a nice gift if given in an adult setting with like-minded individuals, such as a bachellorette party, adult birthday, etc., or on the side without an audience at other parties or events.

I am giving the Golden Screw a 4 rating due to the fact that I can see where others might love this little vibe. There are a lot of excellent qualities and options offered on this vibe that are unique and desirable.
