The uses for this 2 in 1 vibe are only limited by your imagination and your need for power. The two halves of the vibe are designed specifically for male and female stimulation respectively, however, either one can be used to stimulate any number of zones.

The "Her" side has a convex shape to it, so while it is designed to stimulate the clitoris, it can in-fact stimulate any part of the body where you desire.

The "Him" side on the other hand is concave and is designed to cup an area and vibrate around it. The duped area is specifically designed to cup the testicles, or to be used as an end-point for the penis to thrust into while the toy vibrates around it.

Because the toy is designed for him and her, it is intended to be used as a foreplay toy for couples, and I would say that is the best option as neither the “his” nor the “hers” worked in reaching climax on their own. They are a fun way to start off an evening.

The Zini Deux is made from a hard PU coated plastic (7 on the Eden safety scale). It is a food-grade material, it's hypoallergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. This toy is body safe. The toy arrived with ZERO smell and does not retain the smell of the lubricants that I use with it. The toy has a velvety feel to it and does produce some drag when dragging it across the body during a massage (this of course can be lessened by water based lube).

Being that this toy is texture free, it would be a great introduction to new toy users because there is no intimidating texture or possibly uncomfortable stimulation.

The design of this toy is interesting and ergonomically friendly. Both halves are designed to be held in the palm of your hand and both do that nicely. The design of the “his and hers” focuses on placement ideas is also a nice added touch with the toy. However, while it worked for the HER this didn't fit the Him. The toy's "cupping" area was simply too small to cup anything and the more pointed end of the “his” aspect receives so little power that your hand will go numb before you'll receive any pleasure.

The “hers” has a context shape that targets the clit while the outer edges are supposed to wrap around the lips of the labia. While the clitoral stimulation really isn't my cup of tea, the vibration to the whole region is really nice and not something you find often in toys.


While the design didn't float his boat, I do appreciate the discreet nature of this toy. It looks like an egg and is held in a very beautiful box. So unless someone knew what the Zini Deux was, they would have no idea even in seeing to toy.

There are so many functions with this toy. 5 Steady vibrations and 10 pattern settings: 3 speeds of "revving the engine," 2 escalations, Pulse: Long short short long short short (repeat), super-fast pulse, fast pulse, 2x really fast pulse 1x just fast (Repeat), 10x short 1x long pulse. These patterns are the same in both toys. This toy is louder than I thought it would be. I live in an older home (19th century) and you can hear this toy through the walls, though thankfully my roommates think that one of my fans doesn't work so well, but if you are living in a shared space setting you may want to think twice about this toy. This toy has the same motor as the Zini Seed so if those vibrations work for you this toy probably will too; however, I need something a little stronger to get me off. Also I cannot take this toy in the bath which is a bit of a letdown as that is where I personally do most of the foreplay. That being said, this toy is a fun way to start the evening.

The controls are super easy to use, and there is a travel lock (probably one of the best features of the toy). There is a plus and minus and a pattern circle between them. Once you are in pattern mode, use the plus and minus buttons to scroll through them. Pressing the circle again will take you back to steady vibrations. The control panel is backlit with LED lights that for steady vibrations light up each time the button is pressed. In pattern mode the patterns are color coordinated to the LED back light and the light flashes in coordination with the pattern that the motor is making. So you no longer have to remember which pattern you like. Just remember the color, which is great for impatient people like me who aren't patient and just want to get to my setting without having to take the time to figure out which one that is.

To put the toy in lock, press down on the plus and minus at the same time until the red light flashes and your toy is locked. To unlock, either plug the toy in to charge, or press the plus and minus at the same time until the green light flames and now it’s unlocked.

This toy is not the easiest thing in the world to care for. It is not waterproof, and honestly I wouldn't even consider it splash proof. I'll be keeping this in the “toy wipe only” department, and it cannot be sterilized, which considering it is a toy that is touching both partners all over is a bit of the letdown.

This toy is PU coated plastic which would lead many people to believe that it is all lubricant friendly. That is, according to the company, wrong. It is suggested that this toy only be used with water based lube. While you can of course do a test patch with your lube of choice, with a $170 toy, why even chance it?

I store the toy in its box because it’s very discreet (see packaging section).

WOW, you know you are using a high-end toy when your packaging looks this nice. I was very impressed by how much detail was put into the excellent box design that comes apart to display two storage areas: one for the toy and one for the charger and informational packets. The packaging itself has no information on it but because there are two informational packets inside it works out just fine. Also it’s really nice to be able to set this on a shelf and have people walk past it all the time and have no clue what is inside.
