I purchased this product for use by my girlfriend and myself, and tried it out for the first time last night. It's an interesting mix of sensations -- while I normally require fairly direct clitoral stimulation to achieve orgasm, the indirect clitoral stimulation of the "petal" flange provided lovely sensations on and around the clitoris and labia. I could grind against it for a stronger clitoral vibe.

The Calla has the distinction of having been the first toy to give me very distinct "non-clitorally-focused" orgasms -- the shape of the toy, and the strong vibe motor in the shaft, created wonderful G-spot and vaginal-wall stimulation, without any poking against the cervix. I was able to easily achieve five orgasms without wearing myself or the toy out, and the sensations were really unique and enjoyable!

I'd give this a 100% positive review, except for an issue I encountered with the "velvet" texture -- my previous Fun Factory toys have been smooth, but this one created some unpleasant drag, particularly when being removed from the vagina. I'd recommend using this with more lube than you'd use for a similar, smooth toy, so that it can be enjoyably inserted/removed or used with a thrusting motion.

If Fun Factory offered this toy in a smooth version, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat!

As always, I'm impressed by Fun Factory's attention to the weight, feel, and shape of their toys. It feels like a deluxe item, and it's obvious that a lot of time was spent on its design and testing.

I am not a fan of the "velvet" texture, and am concerned that it may be hard to clean over time. It creates drag when inserted/removed, so I recommend adding more lube than you normally would with a smooth toy.

The "velvet" texture is pleasant on the skin and nice to touch, and the toy itself is firm where it needs to be, but yielding near the tip, so you don't have any poking/stabbing issues.

If you're a fan of toys with a little bit of extra drag/friction, this would be a great choice!

I'm really impressed with the Calla's design. It gave me a type of orgasm that I've never experienced before, due to its unique shape and combination of strong motors and indirect clitoral stimulation.

The length of this toy is perfect for beginners for vaginal insertion, but be warned that it is rather girthy at the base. In my opinion, this is a plus rather than a minus, because it feels fantastic to have the fullness of the large base at the entrance of the vagina, the ability to grind your clit against the flange/petal for more direct clitoral stimulation, and the shorter length stimulates areas of the G-spot/inner vagina that are normally missed by lengthier toys.

This toy is not particularly small/discreet -- it's best for a bedroom drawer or inside a suitcase if you're traveling. It's a lovely addition to a toy collection.

The Calla is elegant, sculptural, and attractive, and it caught my eye from the moment I saw it. I'm pleased to report that it fulfills the promise of its design admirably!

The light-up display is easily located on the handle of the toy, and it's easy to change the vibration level when flying solo. There is a feature where the lights activate when the toy is touched, which is a nice surprise. The controls are convenient and easy to use.

The vibrations are strong enough in the shaft that it can be used as an external clitoral vibrator, but the petal/flange intended for clitoral stimulation also has a very enjoyable vibe strength. The tip, when inserted, is wonderful, because its vibrations tease out subtle sensations from areas not always reached by G-spot-specific toys.

The toy is relatively quiet -- when turned up all the way, there's an audible hum, but nothing like the noise of a Hitachi-type toy. If inserted and under the covers, the toy is fairly quiet -- but you may not be, given that it brought on wonderfully intense orgasms!

It's good to know that the Calla is waterproof -- I haven't used it in the bath due to concerns about the "velvet" texture and water washing away the extra lube, but for someone who doesn't mind a little extra friction, the Calla is safe to use in the bath or shower!

The material is 100% silicone, so it should be used with water-based lubes and cleaned with a toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and water.

The packaging for this product made it clear that it was a sophisticated sex toy -- it wasn't so "discreet" that you couldn't see the toy, but it didn't have porno-type illustrations. I found the packaging to be classy and informative.

I'm really impressed by the orgasms that this toy induced -- I achieved five orgasms in relatively short succession, without the overstimulation issues that a direct-clitoral-stimulation toy can cause. It was very pleasurable and elicited some unique sensations.

I'm not a big believer in the Freudian "clitoral orgasms vs. vaginal orgasms" division, but I absolutely loved the combination of less-intense clitoral stimulation (or more intense, when I ground my clit against the petal portion) and more-intense internal stimulation created wonderful, deep, intense orgasms without overstimulating my clitoris to the point that I didn't want to go back for more.
