Stellar vibe cosmic waves - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by RedHead

I waited with great anticipation for this new toy. It was hoped that this could replace the "Vivid Bunny" that I had, but I was disappointed due to its unfortunate smell. Since the "Stellar Vibe" is phthalates free I knew I should be more pleased this time around.

Well, it arrived in no time and I anxiously opened up the package. Once unpackaged, I found myself very pleased with what I saw. The "Cosmic Wave" was wonderfully designed, and with the multi-speeds this vibrator offered, I was sure it would have me hitting climatic levels in no time. I was glad I had some private time, because I really didn't want to wait to give this toy a try.

Once out of its container, the first thing that was immediately obvious was that there was no unpleasant smell. Yeah! Now the dilemma, use it in bath since its waterproof or head to my bed for some fun. I decided to postpone the first bathtub use to later, since I wanted to explore it in all possible ways. I took a quick shower and laid down in bed already wet in desire.

I turned the knob to adjust the speed and headed right for my sweat spot. With the small amount of lube that I put on, it was gliding around all those wonderful locations that get things going. It did not take long before the first orgasm hit. So far so good! It was now time to explore further. This is something I never did when using the "Vivid Bunny". However, with no concerns about phthalates I took things to the next level.

Well, the rippled coils on the shaft felt wonderful as they glided in and out of me. This was the first time for me to be involved with this type of play. When I use my rabbit I slide it in and then turn it on. No thrusting really took place. The only time thrusting with toys occurs, is when my husband uses one of our other toys on me during foreplay. In other words I have never been in complete control over this. Wow, this was fun to explore.

After a while it was going in and out of me like never before. I've always asked my husband to keep things at the slow, easy, and not too deep mode. Let just say I became very uninhibited doing it on my own. I went on, and on, for longer than I normally do. I like the quickness of the rabbits, but this method will be used in the future for sure. So if you want a nice toy to satisfy both the wonder spots outside, and also want to explore inside as well, this is a good toy for the job.

The "Cosmic Wave" is made of TPR, which feels smooth and soft. This material adds comfort to both external and internal use. As mentioned previously its phthalate free, ensuring safe and smell free playtime. The final benefit is that the "Cosmic Wave" is also waterproof to allow its use in the bathtub or shower.

The texture of this vibrator is also very nice. The shaft starts off with a large rounded head that is made of multiple layers of coiled ribbing. As you go past the head's ribbed section, you come to a small smooth section and then another two sections of wonderful ribbing. It should be noted that last two sections of ribbing are of different sizes with the bottom section being the largest. You will definitely, in a pleasurable way, notice this texture.

I very much like the shape and size of this vibrator. My other traditional vibrator is larger in all proportions to this one. I would never think of trying to take that larger vibrator anywhere with me, because its just too big to easily keep discreet. However, this toy is small enough to be discreet. It would be possible if I had a small pouch to put this in my purse if I wanted to take it on a trip.

The 4 3/4 inch circumference was nice also since it allowed me to enjoy the thrusting more. My other one has a circumference that stretches me during use which is why I don't think I like it to be used too vigorously. It should be said, however, that if you prefer larger circumferences this vibrator would probably disappoint.

A ridged knob on the bottom of the vibrator controls the level of the multi-speed vibrations. I found the cap easy to unscrew in order to put the 2 AA batteries in. Some toys I've had made it hard to figure out which direction to put the batteries in. However, the small labels inside the battery compartment made that easy.

Once the batteries were in I found the adjustment of the knob easy to control the level of vibrations. I will note that the bullet vibrator inside this toy is smaller than my "Vivid Bunny". I was not sure if the difference in bullet size would decrease effectiveness. Well, I'm glad to say that even though the vibrations were not as intense with this vibrator it did the its job well.

It should be noted that TPR is a material that is somewhat porous. Therefore, it is typically recommended to use a condom with these toys for safety. After use, the toy can be easily cleaned with warm water and some mild soap.
