Super twins - bullet discontinued by WHK GmbH - review by Trysexual

My reason for buying these was to replace the bullets in our Diving Dolphin that were starting to go on the fritz and didn't want to be caught without any operating bullets.

The can be used vaginally, clitoraly and around the anus/perineum, provided the TWO areas you want to stimulate are 6" away from each other. The cords that attach to the bullets are only 5" or so long, so as long as you aren't sharing or they both stay within the proximity of your crotch you are in business. You won't be able to use them in separate body areas simultaneously. Again, for our primary use this is irrelevant.

I knew that from previous reviews, so no problem for us.

The Super Twins are made of plastic, which is a safety level 8. They are not your typical slick plastic, but rather have a matte like velvety finish, which has some drag to it. As I read in other reviews, the smell is quite strong of plastic when you first open these. It seems to dissipate eventually, but is definitely profuse for a sex toy and a bit off putting at first.


The plastic is Food-grade material / Hypo-allergenic / Latex free / Phthalates free

The controller is ergonomic and textured for easy grip and simple to use and adjust.

Sharing is not recommended, since plastic cannot be properly sterilized.

I like that the bullets can be separated from the controller by an AC Jack. Makes for easy cleaning, less breakage and options for separate storage. The cords could definitely be longer and separate controls for each bullet would be nice, but for the price these are a bargain. The size is your average bullet and they are not discreet for travel.

They are useful for solo or partner play. The bullets are 1" in diameter and about 2 1/4" long. The controller is 1.5" wide and 4" long. The cord is just under 2 feet long total. The cord can be unplugged from the jack, for easy cleaning and/or using with other controllers if you feel so inclined.

There are 4 levels of speed and no patterns, just straight vibration: Low, Med, High and Super, but the Super is only nominally more buzzy than high. It's akin to putting 11 on an amplifier (spinal tap anyone?). That said, they do pack a good punch regardless. The controller fits nicely in your hand and the controls are just a thumb slide away.

The bullets as expected are pretty noisy, so not an option for discreet play if you have roommates. You could definitely hear them on high through a closed door, but if you were under a comforter it would muffle them nicely.

Super twins runs on 2 AA batteries.

The bullets seem to be waterproof, but I don't think the controller is and I won't be testing it out. The short cord would be a liability in a shower anyhow. They are watertight for cleaning though.

The toy can be washed with soap/water, isopropyl alcohol or toy cleaners. Again, they are safety level 8.

They are easy to store, but you may want to coil up the cord to prevent tangling. The bullets can be unplugged from the controller for storage too.

If not using for long periods of time, it's a good idea to remove the batteries from toys.

You can use any type of lubricant, being that these are plastic and non porous, but plastic cannot be properly sterilized, so keep that in mind when it comes to sharing.

The Super twins came in a plastic bubble pack type container that opens easily, with just basic instructions for inserting the batteries. I personally wouldn't reuse the box for storage and it would take up too much space anyway. The packaging is quite obviously a sex toy.

I knew The pros/cons of this toy before buying it and I was not let down. The bullets are powerful and stimulating and it is simple to use. Despite the cons (smelly, short cord), this toy will serve its purpose and more. It's primary use will be replacing the worn out bullets for the Diving Dolphin for PIV sex, but we also enjoy using this simultaneously on the vagina/clitoris.
