Use

The Sinnflut Intensity by Fun Factory is a sturdy vibrator suited for clitoral or vaginal stimulation. I cannot recommend this toy anally because it shouldn't be sterilized via boiling, and I am not sure if you can sterilize this toy with a 10% bleach solution since this information wasn't posted on the Fun-Factory site, or on the overview at EF. Any feedback regarding using the Intensity anally would be appreciated!

This toy is fully waterproof, and can be taken in the shower or bath. There is also no plug to cover up while cleaning or in the shower, so you don't have to worry about little things like getting shocked in a bad and painful way.

Since the vibrations can be felt at the tip and the shaft, this toy is an effective clitoral and g-spot vibrator. Personally, I like to use the tip as a tease to my clitoris, but I haven't been able to achieve a clitoral orgasm from ::only:: this toy. I like firm pressure on my clit, and this silicone is flexible. Fortunately, the yielding nature of this toy is a great asset when it comes to g-spot stimulation. It feels like the Intensity is being customized to fit my anatomy every time I use it! In fact, this is the only toy that I can squirt with (granted I don't soak my sheets, but there is always a little puddle afterwards! Yeah, I'm still working on it.) I definitely get my best g-spot orgasms when I use this toy in my vagina, caressing my g-spot, with my LELO Gigi on my clit.

Material / Texture

The shaft of this toy is made out of 100% medical grade silicone. I should note that the silicone is not as smooth as the silicone on the LELO Iris. But this silicone is much more flexible. I never understood why some people complained about the stiffness of the Iris until I tried this toy. I really appreciate this toy's ability to bend itself to find your g-spot.

I know that I've used the word "bend" a few times here, but although this toy is bendable, it is not ::really:: flexible. It only bends relatively small/medium distances, which is nice because this toy always maintains its straight shape upon removal from my vagina.

I have mixed feelings about the rippled design of the toy. While I can't complain because I bought the Intensity for its intense stimulation, I do find the stimulation almost too intense before I'm completely aroused. But when I'm really hungry for this toy, I love the sensations. The bottom line is that it's a love/dislike relationship. When I'm not properly lubricated, I get the sensation that someone is chafing the skin off of my vagina, although I don't think this is actually happening. If you love texture, you will likely enjoy the extra ripples. And if you don't love texture, you still might love this toy. There are also other smoother toys in the Sinnflut line that offer less external stimulation.

Design / Shape / Size

I absolutely loved the design, shape and size of this toy! I found that it had just the right amount of length and flexibility to suit my needs. With a total length of 8" and an insertable length of 5.5" my vagina was very very happy! Its diameter is about 1.75" so this is definitely a nice sized toy! When I'm orgasming I like to push this toy all the way in so the only thing outside my vagina is the plastic ball handle And the flexible nature of the silicone ensures that this toy will hug every curve of my body. Even though I love my heavy unyielding toys, it's nice to have a toy work around my body for a change.

I would say that this toy is good for beginning and advanced users, but beginning users might not like/expect the ridges. I would recommend getting a less expensive textured dildo/vibrator before investing in this product if you're a beginner.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Intensity has about 8 levels of vibration strengths and 3 different pulsation modes. They are a little bit hard to count, so I may be off by one or two. Anyway, the vibration strength ranges from barely there to WOW! Also, the vibration pitch is very low, so this toy gives great low frequency deep vibrations that resonate well with my vagina.

The Intensity turns on and off by hitting the round button on the base. Press the button once and the toy is automatically set on the lowest level of vibration. If you turn the silicone end TOWARDS you aka like how you would use this vibrator, you can push the joystick up and reach all 8 levels of vibration. Once the vibrator is on its maximum vibration setting you can access the vibration modes by pushing the joystick up one more notch. This puts the vibrator in pulsation mode. Keep scrolling up to access different (faster) vibration speeds. Once the maximum vibration pulsation cycle is hit, you can hit the joystick up again to return to the first pulsation mode. To exit the pulsation mode, simply hit the joystick "down" aka towards yourself to return to the maximum vibration intensity.

The joystick was really easy to use once I got the hang of it. It doesn't really move very much so make sure that you're ::really:: changing the vibration levels when you hit it. It is also nearly impossible to change vibration strengths unless your finger clearly pushes the joystick hard in the right direction. I think this mechanism would be very difficult to break, but remember that you're not necessarily trying to move the joystick, you're trying to apply pressure in the proper direction. The enclosed manual gives great directions as to the exact workings of this toy. And I clearly have a bad record with regards to saving manuals because I don't have this one either.

I haven't tried this toy in the bath, namely because I don't have a bathtub, but I am sure that it would perform wonderfully. It is also relatively quiet. While there is some rattling, it should be covered by music. It is louder than the LELO Iris, but it's still fairly quiet, considering its strength. I would also say that it's stronger than the Iris, so it's a pretty good trade-off.

Care and Maintenance

Fun Factory recommends that you keep this toy plugged into its base when it is not in use to maximize the life of the battery. The Intensity is powered by a rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery (NiMH). I also read on other reviews (and it's probably in the manual) that you should let this toy completely discharge once every 3 months. If I am incorrect about any of these suggestions please let me know because they were not taken directly from the manual.

I really like that this toy is always ready when I am, but it can be embarrassing having a large vibrating object plugged into your wall. While the Intensity is non-phallic, it is still obviously a vibrator. I'm not too concerned about this, but some of you might be. I always remember to remove it before anyone comes into my room. Also, if you have a roommate, this could be a potential problem.

I clean my Intensity with soap and water. I do not recommend boiling this toy because it does have metal parts internally. Since the toy is made of 100% medical grade silicone, you could theoretically use a 10% bleach solution but I wouldn't recommend this because I haven't seen it on any official websites for this product (although I haven't read every review for this product).

Since this is a silicone toy, it is not compatible with silicone lubricants. The base of the toy, and the charging station, is made out of plastic.

Packaging

Like all Fun-Factory products, this toy came in a red box with a magnetic flap. On the box were instructions and a pictorial describing the exact functions of the Intensity. I don't have my box anymore, so I don't remember exactly what was on it. But I kept it for a long time because it did help house my Intensity during travel. Now I bought a Zomi pouch for it or I wrap it in a towel. Overall I would say that the packaging was fun (and it was made in a factory! I had to throw that terrible joke out there, my apologies).

Personal comments

This is an absolutely fantastic toy. It is hard to go wrong with this product. I can only picture anyone disliking it if they only like small dildos. Even then, people with this preference can insert the Intensity only halfway into their vaginas. I do that a lot anyway because I like how it feels!

I justified this purchase because I don't have a waterproof toy and I really wanted one, mostly because I thought it was might be sturdier/better made to prevent leakage. While this is a very well made toy, I wouldn't say that it's made any better or worse than other luxury vibrators.

Again the texture (and pardon my lack of vocabulary today) and textural intensity of this toy might not be for everyone. But I've found that the silicone gets really soft when I apply a thicker water based lubricant. I use an organic lubricant that isn't found on Eden Fantasys. This toy also worked exceptionally well with toy fluid, the Fun Factory lubricant. If you purchase this toy, a sample of toy fluid is already included. Be careful, you'll probably want to buy this lubricant because it does work exceptionally well with the silicone Fun-Factory toys.

Experience

I had my first squirting orgasm with this toy! There was definitely a small puddle on my towel when I finished. I felt my vagina spasm much stronger than normal. I almost blacked out! While most of my orgasms tend to be fairly strong, the orgasms from this toy are the especially intense because of the strong vibrations from this product.

Given my rave reviews, I'm surprised that I don't use this toy more. I've probably only used it 7-10 times and I bought it in September. Even though I love this toy deeply, I usually reach for my Pure Wand/other non-vibrating dildos. This too is strange because I really love vibrations. But the frequency of my usage of this toy, and other vibrating dildos, suggests otherwise.

The Intensity is a quality purchase that is definitely built to last! I highly recommend this product!
Follow-up commentary
I don't use this toy as much as I should, but it's still awesome. Also I don't keep it plugged into the wall anymore and it seems to hold its charge really well. I just need to remember to plug it in every once in a while because you shouldn't store these kinds of batteries when they're completely discharged.

This is a great toy, and a great investment.

This line of toys just looks so...different. Thanks for a great review, though.

Thanks! Yeah, I definitely agree. Maybe that's why I never reach for this toy! The line seems durable though (watch my toy break next week now that I said that).

@Newme: They really are great, this one makes me want to try the other models, but they do need to stay charged, which would be inconvenient

@Bee: Thanks! This is a very strong toy. I highly recommend it, especially if you like silicone vibrators.

    @Lauren: Thanks!

@Sammi: If you do get this one, tell me how it stacks against the Form 6. That toy is at the top of my wish list, but I really don't (think? haha) I need 2 waterproof vibes, especially since I don't have a bathtub.

While we're on the subject, how does the Form 6 stack up against the Iris?

Congrats on squirting! I actually thought the Intensity lacked a bit in size and texture but I have a finicky vagina. Still a wonderful toy, glad you enjoyed it!
  • Contributor: sophie2229
Why thank you Adriana! I'll admit, a bigger toy would make me happier, but I'm still quite pleased.
