Couture collection Amante - egg vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by amandarinorange

I had been looking for an egg vibrator that could also engage my partner, who often has trouble "handling" things down there once I get going. I purchased this product thinking the remote control would be a great way to get him involved, without intimidating him at all.


The first time using this product was great: my boyfriend was able to control the egg from downstairs in our apartment, which I thought was pretty neat. The bullet is made of silicone and it easy to handle; for me, it was a little large for insertion, but it has a little tail at the end that made manipulating and retrieving the bullet easy. There are seven functions: low, medium and high constant vibration, a pulse, an escalating pulse, an escalating vibration ending with two pulses and a randomly alternating pulse/vibration setting. It is relatively quiet, but DEFINITELY intense. I would recommend this product to beginners who are looking for an extra kick and to couples. The remote itself is lightweight and feels a little flimsy; the batteries it takes are teeny and sometimes are difficult to find (I had to go to an electronic store like Best Buy).

After using the toy once, and enjoying it immensely, I wanted to take it in the tub and see how it fared underwater. I was shocked, and awfully disappointed, to discover that the bullet wouldn't turn on. I assumed that the batteries that had come with it had burned out and went to find new ones. After replacing the batteries, it still didn't work. So I returned it and got a new one. Again, after using it once, it broke; except this time, the remote had stopped communicating with the egg, so not only couldn't I change the settings, I had to pop out the batteries just to turn the egg off. I don't know if I just had bad luck or if this product is defective, but I replaced the Amante vibrator with another remote-controlled model and have had no similar issues -- review to follow!
