This vibrator is one of the best I've owned. The length, girth and feel are all phenomenal. The controls are easy to use and the clitoral stimulator hits the right spot. The overall length and weight might be an issue for some, but I found no problems during self use, other than the vibrations are not as strong as I'd anticipated for a toy of this size.

This toy is made from velvety soft silicone with a plastic base that houses the batteries. The silicone is plush, yet firm enough to provide realistic feel and drag. A little extra lube is always good to have on hand to make things glide a little easier.

Out of the box, the toy has no smell and is true to what is shown on the website. It is a beautifully designed, classy toy, although it may be a bit on the large side for some.

The toy has graduated swirls from the top to the bottom which are entirely smooth and provide a full feeling without being too much. I didn't think I was going to like having all the girth at the bottom of the toy (as opposed to more realistic vibrators that have a larger head and smaller shaft), but it provides quite a bit of stimulation around the labia and vagina's entrance.

The size works extremely well for me, as I had a smaller toy that did not live up to my expectations and exchanged it for the Melody. It is quite a large toy, with the battery compartment/handle area taking up a pretty large portion of the toy, but this allows for better grip during use (just make sure your hands aren't slippery). Petite women, beginners or those that prefer smaller or discreet toys may want to look elsewhere, as this toy fits in a bedside drawer, but would be quite noticeable if someone were snooping around. Investing in a bag or case may be useful as silicone has a tendency to pick up hair and lint, although a quick rinse solves this, and I haven't noticed that the Melody picks up an extraordinary amount of lint. Keeping in a dust-free environment will ensure ability of quick use.

I really enjoyed that the Melody is free of cutesy animal designs and "fluffy", "feminine" design. No pink to be found here, just a sleek, classy toy that looks and feels good, and is low on the noise scale. If you want a toy that looks like it was designed for adults and not some hot pink jelly vibe that belongs in a wacky gift store, this is an excellent choice.

Controls are extremely simple and subtly lit for dark rooms, easy to see and understand and use even during solo play. There are three buttons, a dedicated power button, vibration button, and rotation button. Rotation doesn't do much for me and tends to dampen the vibration, so I usually only use the vibration button. My only qualm with the Melody is that the vibrations aren't as strong as I thought they were going to be - however, I haven't tried it with fresh batteries. There are three stable vibrations to choose from, and from there, it cycles through pulsing options. It is a strong enough vibration to get the job done, even in the clitoral stimulator, but for as large as the toy is, I'd expect something a little stronger. Nonetheless, the toy works well for its intended purpose, stimulating both the G-spot and clit simultaneously, and thrusting works well with this toy, providing an all-around good time when using this toy.

The toy seems well built and of quality materials. Upkeep with this toy is extremely simple. It claims to be waterproof, which I have yet to test. Before and after use, a simple warm water and soap wash is good to keep it clean, and keeping it in a bag or case will help keep it dust and free. The toy isn't small, so if discretion is necessary, you may want to look into another toy or your options for how to store it.

The packaging was simple and classy, with a picture of the toy on the front and simple explanation of the features. Simple plastic and cardboard allows for recycling.

Although I wish the toy had stronger vibrations, it's still an excellent toy that gets the job done and is a good addition to any collection. For now, this is my only toy, but I plan on adding to it, although Melody will surely remain a staple.
