Groovies wave

I really love the Groovies wave vibrator. It's the first one I've had with so many settings. I would definitely recommended this vibe to everyone. Very simple but exciting toy.

Pros:

Use

This super groovy wave vibrator is a really nice inexpensive little vibe. It can be used vaginally or on the clit. This toy would work for anyone, but if you're a beginner, then you should definitely try this one. This toy is probably better for solo use, but you can also use it with a partner.

Material / Texture

This toy is plastic but it's super soft and smooth and it has no smell. This toy doesn't have any real texture aside from the waves which really help since it is a small toy.

Design / Shape / Size

I really like the shape and color of this toy, plus the little jewels at the base add some girlishness to it. This toy personally is too small for me. I really can't feel it in me, but I can feel the vibrations perfectly. Because it is skinny, I would definitely recommend this for beginners. This toy is very discreet, really easy to store and travel with, it will fit in a purse just fine.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy is awesome. It has 8 different settings: Low, medium and high vibrations. Escalating. Pulsing, which is my favorite, and faster pulsing. Then very high vibrating. And the last one goes through all the settings which is also pretty cool. The only thing that isn't so great is that you have to cycle through all the setting to turn it off..but..that's not sooo bad. It does have a push button that I really like compared to the twist bottoms which I was having so much trouble with earlier. This is a very easy toy to use. It's not very loud but on the highest vibe setting you could probably hear it through a few blankets, but not through a door. It is waterproof and works very well in the tub or shower. It runs on 2 AAA batteries which is really nice. It also runs on NiMH which I did not expect because most toys won't work at all on anything but alkaline...but some do on lithium, that I guess makes things more powerful but can heat up quickly.

Care and Maintenance

Very easy toy to clean, just use soap and water or whatever toy cleaner you like. It's super easy to store. I store mine in a cute pouch thing. Pretty sure you can use this with any lube, but water based is usually the best. You can use it with other toys, I let mine just sit in me on the last vibe setting and use a clitoral vibrator. It's very relaxing.

Packaging

The Groovies wave comes in a clear plastic frame that holds it to a blue piece of cardboard with the name and features on it. You probably could use it to store the toy, but it's not that practical.

This vibe is awesome. I love all the functions, especially the last one where it goes through all the settings. It may be small but it still feels great.

    • Depends on what kind you are looking for (clitoral, g-spot, combination). I would suggest figuring out what kind you want. You can filter the product listings by that type and then sort by rating. Check out the reviews. If you can narrow it down to a few that you like, you can post a comparative discussion to the forum to get some additional feedback.
    • That's a really vague question. If you're just getting started, I would recommend any toy made up of a body-friendly material (such as silicone) and familiarize yourself with what toys are made of and the pros and cons of each type of material. The more hygienic materials tend to cost more, but they are worth it in the end because they will last longer and are more body-friendly.

      What do you like in the way of toys? If you're not sure, the "vibrators" section of EdenFantasys will allow you to choose from and narrow your selection down to dual-action vibes, clitoral stimulators, anal vibrators, double penetration vibes, and a lot more.   • Groovie Waves not working?
    • Are other people having problems with the Groovie Waves spontaneously quitting? I received it and attempted to use it as directed but I barely got it inserted before it sputtered twice and died. I've been doing my kegels but I don't think I'm THAT good yet ;) Just curious if others are having problems.
    • Mine worked fine.. hasn't given me any trouble and I've had it a couple of weeks. (knock on wood!) hehe!
    • Mine seems to be doing just dandy still :D
