The Groovies Wave by Shaki Toys is a traditional vibrator manufactured exclusively for EdenFantasys, so you will not find this anywhere else. It's pretty to look at. It is girly looking and would make a great addition to any woman's toy collection. This vibrator is great for clitoral stimulation, vaginal insertion, nipple stimulation or all over body massage. However, I do not recommend using this anally because of the lack of a flared base; lets keep it from doing an disappearing act. I find this toy is best used for solo play but can be used with your partner. It's great for beginners and advanced users alike; mainly beginners since it is so easy to care for.

This vibrator is made of ABS plastic with a velvety PU coating. It is a nonporous phthalate-free material with a firm, smooth texture. The material is an 8 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. I did not notice any odor or taste to this product. It has a smooth and velvety feel to it. I just love how silky smooth it felt. It feels great when you rub it across the skin. The wave texture does provide extra sensual stimulation to sensitive areas. The Groovies Wave has no give to it at all making it great for pinpoint stimulation.

The vibrator is only 5 1/2" long. The insertable length is 4 1/2". The girth at it's smallest is 2 5/8" and is 3 1/4" at it's largest. The diameter is 1 inch and it weighs 0.2 lb. After the waves, there are two rows of fake small rhinestones. The colors are clear, pink, and purple. I think it looks good with the purple shaft. On the base there is a single, black push button. I found this button easy to use, but you have to cycle through all of the patters to turn it off. Since it's small in size and low in weight I'd say this ideal for beginners and travelers. On the other hand it is a bit on the loud side, so be careful where you use it and who might be able to hear you. It's fun to play with in the shower. There is an o-ring seal, so you can use it in/under water.

The Groovies Wave is only controlled by a single push button at the base of the toy. The button is easy to push but not too sensitive to where you could accidentally change modes. This vibrator takes 2 AAA batteries which are not included. The vibrations are strongest at the tip and middle of the shaft. So no need to worry about that numb/funny feeling in you hand. It can get pretty noisy at it's higher settings, and I would say this is earthshaking. I give this a good average on vibration noise and feel. There is a lot of variety in functions as you can see. This vibrator has 8 functions that you cycle through with the push of a button. Each time you click it you go to a different setting.

1. Teasing: Low steady vibrations
Weakest level of vibration

2. Flutter: Medium Low steady vibrations
Middle level of vibration

3. Buzz: Medium steady vibrations
Strong level of vibration

4. Rollercoaster: Fluttering escalation from low to medium
weak-middle-strong vibration, the vibrations will go from the weakest to the strongest and back

5. Long Pulses: Fast pulsing
weak-strong vibration, the vibrations will jump straight from the weakest to the strongest, skipping the middle vibration.

6. Short Pulses: Even faster pulsing
middle-strong vibration, the vibrations will jump from the middle vibration to the strongest

7. Intense Buzz: Steady high vibration

Slow escalation from low, medium, to high, then flutters on medium three times, before going to a pulse and then a faster pulse

The Groovies Wave is a easy toy to care for since it is non-porous. Cleaning can be done with warm water and mild soap, or you could wipe it down with a sex toy cleaner. Be sure to remove the batteries when not in use. Note: I have ruined a toy by not removing the batteries. Since it's made of ABS plastic, it can be stored anywhere and is compatible with all materials. I store mine under my bed or in my night stand; I don't worry about it collecting any lent. You could use water, oil, or silicone based lubes with this toy. All in all it's a great material for beginners to start with because it is so easy to care for.

The Groovies Wave packaging is simple. It is packaged in a clear plastic container that pops open on the top and both sides, The hinge is at the bottom. The packaging has no pictures on it. Inside is all the instructions and so forth about toy; this paper rests in the indention in the plastic container. On the back of the paper they cover the following topics: Functions, features, Use, Care. Under each of those is their description of the toy. What I love is how they put names (and descriptive picture) for each function.

My only problem with this vibrator is that there is no kill switch. Meaning you have to go through all the vibrations to turn it off. I just wish I could hold it down to have it shut off. If it wasn't for that I'd give it a 5 star rating.
