Lucid dream No. 14 by Doc Johnson

Lucid dreams really do exist. A dream becomes lucid when you realize that you are dreaming, so you dream whatever you want. For example, you might choose to fly, play a perfect game of Guitar Hero III, or have sex with your favorite celebrity. I’m sure you can figure out what I choose to do during my lucid dreams.

Needless to say, the first time I saw a picture of Doc Johnson’s Lucid Dream No. 14, I fell in love.  There was something about its shape that I was very drawn to. In addition, it was advertised as a g-spot vibrator, and there were many reviews praising it from other EdenFantasy.com customers. It seemed like a no brainer, so I placed my request and waited eagerly for its arrival.

I didn’t have to wait long at all. I opened the brown box and was greeted with a beautiful sparkly box. A sticker had been affixed reading: Women’s Health Winner Best Maxi Vibe 2007. I felt like I had hit the jackpot. As I took out my new Lucid Dream No. 14, I immediately noticed a distinct plastic smell. The vibrator is made out of PVC and is definitely larger than I imagined. I didn’t realize how large it actually would be. Undaunted, I washed my pretty purple dream, got out my lube, and got to work.

First impressions: Why no instructions? There were no directions or signs on the vibrator instructing how the batteries go. I had the batteries backwards so the toy would not work unless the cap was loose. Ultimately, the vibrator kept turning off at the most inopportune moments. It was very upsetting, and when I finally came, I don’t know how much longer later, I was totally frustrated.

I decided to give it another try in the morning. I knew it was waterproof so, after finally figuring out how to put the batteries in, I took it in the shower with me.  Things went ten times better, and I have had happy, sparkly, bubbly orgasms ever since.

The bullet is extremely quiet, which is one of their selling points. I have nosy neighbor problems, so this is a great feature to have. There are three different speeds, and the No. 14 has this great tip that feels great on my clitoris and my g-spot. 

Another thing I like about the toy is that I can use it while I lay on my back. I normally pleasure myself while I lie on my stomach, but this toy is long enough for me to manipulate it while on my back. The vibrator is a little difficult to clean up, however.

I give the toy four stars because I think the no directions issue and the clean up issues are huge minuses, but I also give it four vrooms and two bees because it ultimately is a great vibrator.  Sweet dreams!

I just love my Lucid Dream. It really did deserve getting that sex toy award from Women's Health Magazine. I guess I was too hasty when I got it to realize its majesty and glory.

For one thing, it's still going strong. It is sturdy and durable. I can still feel all three speeds, and it is still as quiet as a butterfly kiss. It's easier to clean than it was at first (I guess because now I realize how to clean it better) and it only take 2 AA batteries so, it's my main toy right now.

That being said, I don't use it very often. It's kind of a special occasion thing. The orgasms I receive are very nice, and it is a good "vacation" from manual stimulation but you HAVE to use lube in order to use it. After I masturbate, I like just to go to bed but with this, you have to get up, clean it, take out the batteries, etc. Sometimes it's just not worth the hassle. I mainly use this for "afternoon delight."

Still, it's the hardest working vibrator I have, and I love it.
