The Fairy Pocket Mini is just that, mini. Seriously this wand is tiny. This little wonder comes in at just 5 3/4 inches long and the diameter of the head is 1 inch. The pocket mini is also very light, weighing only 5.5 ounces. Due to the petite size of the Fairy Pocket Mini, I doubt it would come in handy for massaging tired muscles or knots unless they're very small knots or you prefer taking three hours to massage your calf. The FPM, as I'll call it, excels at being a clitoral vibrator, a very strong, portable, clit vibe! Of course, it also can be used for nipple, scrotum, vulva, stimulation or anyplace you might like strong external vibrations. Insertion in any orifice is not recommended or really feasible with the FPM.

The head of the FPM is firm and only flexes a tiny bit around the base of the head. The heads exterior is silky smooth on top and a little less than half way down you find four ribs to add some texture. I'm not exactly sure what material was used to make this head/cap, but it has no odor at all and cannot be removed. Connecting the head to the body is a rubber coated spring that allows the head to flex as pressure is applied. The body is hard white plastic with cute pink fairies on it. Basically, it's a ultra mini Hitachi replica minus the soft rubber head.

I really love having a mini Hitachi style vibrator that will fit in my pocket or purse for portable quickies. The ribs on the head add nice texture for clit stimulation which I did enjoy. Because Media Craft Inc took serious power and packed it into something this small, it is a little on the noisy side while in use. Think of a silver bullet on steroids! It can be heard through a closed door regardless of the speed you have it on, it has a very high frequency and very buzzy vibration. Due to the strength of the FPM, sensitive users will most likely find it overpowering and numbing. On the other hand, if you like buzzy vibes and have a clit of steel, the FPM will become your new favorite. I like buzzy, strong vibrations but found that in the beginning the high speed was almost too buzzy for me, but having the aforementioned clit of steel I quickly adjusted.

The FPM is rechargeable and charges via a port on the side of the body very much like a USB port. A cable then connects the toy to an AC outlet. Charging is complete in 90 minutes providing 70 minutes of play time. The FPM is not waterproof, so, ok not the end of the world, But, I don't like the fact that the charging port is open all the time. There is no rubber gasket like you find on a cell phone to keep out dirt and debris, this port is always exposed. Purses and pockets usually have lot's of lint and small particle debris so if you choose to carry the FPM with you you'll want to put it in a plastic bag or other protective case.

Let's talk power! The FPM has two speeds of constant vibration, High and low. The vibration level is controlled by a simple slide switch on the front of the vibe. I don't know the rpm level for low but high is a whopping 11,000 rpm. For comparison, The Cone has a 300 rpm motor and the We-vibe offers 3,000 rpm on low and 5,000 rpm on high. Both speeds were enough to induce orgasm in pretty short order. The vibrations are powerful enough that the entire surface, sides, and top, are equally intense.

The FPM can be cleaned with toy cleaner or toy wipes, Isopropyl alcohol is also an option. If you choose to wash it with water and antibacterial soap, you'll want to take care that you don't get water in the exposed charging port. The head tends to accumulate fluids in the ribbing, so each grove may require special attention. As I said previously, I don't know what material was used for covering the head, so I can't recommend sharing the FPM with multiple partners. Water and oil based lubricants are fine to use with the FPM. If you're going to use silicone I would recommend a patch test first.

The FPM comes in a pink cardboard box, most of the text is in Japanese. The only English on the box was the charging time and output ratio, the rpm speed for high and the text "For women's". The charging cable comes boxed separately, in a thin white cardboard box.

I really love this toy for fast solo sessions. It also works great for partner sex, foreplay and during intercourse. It is VERY buzzy!
