Hard, Slick and "Wisper" QuietNasstoys' Harmony, part of its Wisper Collection, is a quiet yet powerful push button vibrator with three speeds and a graduated shaft providing a subtle change in thickness. Its slick surface is hard but lubricant-friendly.
The Harmony is strong, slick, and versatile.
The batteries tend to wear down pretty quickly.
The Harmony, part of the Wisper collection by Nasstoys, is a gently graduated vibrator designed for vaginal use, though it can easily be used on the clitoris as well, and – with caution – for anal teasing. With its super-slick plastic surface, the Harmony will slide easily along every curve of skin.
The Harmony has a very slick, smooth plastic surface – it’s also completely unyielding, so it feels bigger than it looks! Still, its surface ensures that even a drop of wetness will go a long way. Because of the material choice, this vibrator is phthalates-free and body friendly.
A respectable four inches around at its widest, the Harmony is just shy of five inches long. While the tip starts out narrow, widens slightly and then dips in before the shaft of the vibrator bulges out again, these differences in width are subtle but definitely noticeable. The combination of its moderate size and bulges made the Harmony comfortable for me to use, without the vibrator being too small to feel “full”.
The Harmony is controlled by a simple push-button mechanism at the base, and has three speeds. The motor is strong despite being powered only by two AAA batteries; however, similar to the Smoothie, the last Nasstoys vibrator I reviewed, the use of small batteries meant that the Harmony drains them quickly. It’s something of a trade-off, as the AAAs mean that the vibrator is fairly quiet. As a nice touch the batteries fit into a small plastic clip, which at least for me, is helpful for keeping the batteries under control when my vibrators aren’t in use.
Slick as it is, the Harmony is very easy to clean with warm soap and water, and takes well to any lubricant. Since plastic is nonporous, a little lube will go a long way.
The Harmony's packaging is a simple thin, clear plastic container with an insert describing the vibrator and its functions. While not exactly discreet, the focus is on the vibrator.
The Harmony is so unassuming that at first I thought it would be terribly boring, but it's surprisingly versatile and enjoyable! The well-placed motor had me moaning as I trailed it over my clit, and the vibrator is strong enough to feel against my g-spot despite the fact that it isn't designed to hit that area of the vulva.
