Off with their head silicone hitachi cap by Vixen Creations

Back when I worked in an erotic boutique, we jokingly nicknamed the Hitachi Magic Wand “The Jackhammer.”

There’s a good reason for it. The massager uses a pounding motion to achieve its intense vibrations. For me, that means it only takes a second or two to reach orgasm, and I can usually only have two or three before I’m much to sensitive to continue. They’re three great orgasms, but boy, they wipe me out – and that’s on the low setting.

Enter Off With Their Head, an attachment of sorts from Vixen. Unlike most attachments for massagers, this cap is actually designed to replace the head on a Magic Wand or Ideal massager. You remove the massager’s head by tugging around the rim, and slip Vixen’s attachment on in its place. It took me some finagling to get the original head off of the wand, but the replacement went on as easy as pie.

Off With Their Head has deep horizontal ridges on one side; the other side features a smaller vertical ridge topped with a little tongue-like protrusion. The description on Eden Fantasys said that the tongue part could be used to mimic oral sex, but I was skeptical. It seemed to me that the vibrations from the toy were just too fast and hard to ever be anything like good head.

But oh, was I pleasantly surprised. Here, for your perusal, some of my favorite things about Off With Their Head:

  - Silicone! The soft black head is not only much nicer on the sensitive bits than the Magic Wand’s original head, but it is infinitely easier to clean.

  - The ridges feel great around the labia and vaginal opening, making the massager useful for teasing during longer play sessions instead of the usual quick get-off.

  - With a little water-based lube and a light touch, the tongue-like part of the attachment actually does feel a little like oral sex! Silicone transmits vibration beautifully. The only problem is that the massager gets a little heavy when you’re holding it off of your body.

  - Because we use the massager as, well, a massager (in addition to as a sex toy), I’d been covering it with a non-lubricated condom when using it on my naughty bits. That way I could just whip off the condom when I wanted to use it on my beau’s back. Now I can just pop one head off, the other head on, and skip the expensive latex!
