Hello Kitty is good for giggles

If you are wanting a small pocket rocket styled vibrator as a regular toy for actual use, then you should skip this one and continue shopping. For half the price you can get twice the toy with a regular pocket styled vibe. If you are wanting it because it is cute or you are a Hello Kitty fan, then buy it.

I am a fan, so I love my Hello Kitty vibrator. I don't consider it anything more than a novelty though.

Note: We are a M/F couple and this review was written by the female half.

Pros:
This toy is super cute and everyone who sees it loves it.
Cons:
It is overly loud, vibrations are in the wrong area, and it buzzes my hand to much.

Use

The Hello Kitty vibrator isn't something I would ever recommend as a serious sex toy with getting off in mind.

It is, however, something I would recommend for any lover of super cute Japanese animation inspired products. It is also a 100% must have for a serious Hello Kitty fan or collector.

My personal use of this vibrator is as a conversation starter. It is just so dang cute that people can't help but ask about it and want to see it. If you wish for the talk to turn sexy when you have guests over, just leave this Hello Kitty vibrator on a shelf. You can always use the excuse that you are a Hello Kitty fan and bought it as a novelty if the wrong people stop over.

Material / Texture

The Hello Kitty Vibrator is made of hard plastic. Although the kitty itself has many little nooks and ridges, it is all very smooth.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this vibrator is appealing on a visual level and beyond that not much more. As a novelty or cute gift it is perfect, but that is as far as it goes. Rubbing the kitty head on your lady bits will of course give you a good feeling, but the shape was meant to look cute rather than massage well.

Functions / Performance / Controls

From a use standpoint, the vibrator is a huge failure. The vibrations themselves come from the top (kitty portion) of the toy rather than the lower section like most traditional pocket rocket styled vibrators.

This is also the loudest pocket rocket vibrator I have ever owned. It was so loud in fact that I laughed when I first turned it on.

The vibration power was average to just above average for the style of vibrator, but the distribution made it almost worthless and it was a type of buzzy that get to your hand as much as what you are hoping to use it on.
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

Being made of a hard, durable plastic, this toy is easy to take care of. Though not a waterproof toy, I had no issues washing it with regular soap and water (just be careful). A sani cloth or toy cleaner works just as well.

As for storage, I just leave mine out on a shelf because it is cute and I can explain it away as a novelty. If I didn't do that, I would just toss it in a drawer. It seems pretty tough.

    • I could never use it. It reminds me too much of my little cousins. It's totally cute though. :)

      on the vid review, she says the hello kitty figure twists off INSANELY easy, revealing the motor! yikes! you could get your lady-parts seriously injured if that happened! that's definitely enough to make me not want to buy it.

    • I finally could afford to get this for my girlfriend, and then it went out of stock!!! Does anyone know when it'll be back?
    • It says it's in stock. But if it isn't, you can submit a support ticket and usually get a rough estimate. I've typically gotten a response the same day.
