If vibrators were characters, the
Hitachi magic wand would be the main hero/heroine without a doubt! It's so strong compared to all the others and seems to posses some kind of magical power over your body! Oh, the things it can make you do! Maybe it's just a bit too powerful for it's own good! It's so strong you want to pull it away from your sensitive parts but, you... just... CAN'T!
It arrived in a rather unsuspecting package. It looked old fashioned with it's images of how to use it on sore muscles and such. I pulled it out of the unimaginative packaging and thought, "I'll give that a try!" No need to insert batteries because you will NEVER need any for this! I just plugged it up to the electrical outlet via it's 6 foot cord and switched it on. The vibrations on low were actually more intense than a lot of other vibes I have tried. A small, "woah...." escaped my lips at this. I decided to try it out on my "exterior" parts before attempting anything more intimate. I started on my shoulders and I have to say, the vibrations on low felt wonderful and deeply satisfying to my aching shoulders. High speed was even better! It gave me a more vigorous/aggressive massage than I can ever recall having from a massager. It definitely passed the test in this respect! I would recommend it for this alone!
Switching it off (it has a switch near the middle of the massager that is high on one side and low on the other with the center being "off") I gazed at it once again. I noticed the "head" is made from a rubbery feeling material. It is not hard plastic. Kind of a firm rubber ball feel. While this felt great on my shoulders, I couldn't help but wonder how it would feel on my crotch. So, after slipping a condom over the "rubber ball" for easy cleanup, I leaned back on the bed and switched it back on to low. When I applied the condom covered rubber ball to my clitoral area, I was immediately in heaven! It felt truly divine! After I was good and warmed up, I switched it to high which felt almost too intense for me but I just couldn't pull it away! Well, one orgasm down and many more to follow in the future with this "big" beauty!
This one has been reviewed soo many times I'm just really not sure what else I can add about it other than to just reinforce everything that has already been said. It is a very
powerful vibrator/massager (weapons grade!), it will never need batteries, it is versatile, it will last a very long time, it is a decent price and pretty much everything else you have heard or read is true! It's definitely worth it's price! If you haven't already given it a try you really should! You just might love it like everyone else does!
Just to refresh your memory a bit, this massager is electric so it is definitely not waterproof in any way! It has two speeds, low and high. It measures 12" long and is listed as being made of plastic. While it is made of plastic as far as the handle/housing goes, I feel there are other materials to this vibrator also such as the "rubber ball" head. It did come with an instruction manual that actually refers to the "rubber ball head" as the, "spherical vinyl portion." Because of this, my best advice as far as lube goes would be to use a good water based lube and you should be just fine. The manual also states that maximum operation on this massager is 25 minutes. It also shows a diagram of areas to massage...strangely enough, the vaginal area is not mentioned here.....hmmm...
One last plus on this massager is that mine came with a one year warranty against defects. Always a nice touch! Just make sure to keep your original proof of purchase before throwing out the box!
So, there you have it! I finally bought one and now I know what all the fuss is truly about! I guess that means I have officially joined the Hitachi cult... *shrugs shoulders*
After initially getting used to the
Hitachi magic wand, I tried out a few attachments with it that are available separately. I personally think it's awesome that you can buy these attachments that make it so much more versatile! This experience was great and I highly recommend giving them a try also!
I also learned it is true that you can make a non vibrating dildo vibrate just by holding the Hitachi against it during play because it is so powerful! Another great advantage!
As far as using this one with a partner, it's great for your partner to use it on you or vice versa but, it would be difficult to use this one during sex because it is fairly large and somewhat heavy so, we opted for something a bit smaller for that.
I also found it to be great for pre-sex massage! It is just so sensual and relaxing to use this on your partner and of course, your partner use it on you with some nice, warmed up massage oil just to get you in the mood. It was just amazing to be pampered and massaged all over in a mutual tension releasing massage. Give it a try with some
scented candles! I would advise covering it with a condom though just so cleanup would be a breeze!
