The Spellbound G is a vibrator that claims to:

1. Arouse the G-spot
2. Be a totally waterproof sex toy
3. Give an extra spike of sensation via an 'Enhanced Pleasure Ring'
4. Have a smooth velvety feel
5. Have a powerful multi-speed vibration

The vibrator followed through on most of the promises. One major exception to this was the supposed 'Enhanced Pleasure Ring.' I laugh because I honestly think that the ring is simply where they decided to screw on the vibration motor. Some guy over at the sex toy factory must've thought, "hey, let's just call it the pleasure ring!" Also, as I started using it, I was beginning to think the G-spot might never end up being stimulated. I had started by just inserting it and then I took it out for clitoral stimulation. In the end, I did feel as if the G-spot was stimulated, but I felt that it took longer (hours) to get there and that you basically had to push the toy hard up against you before you got to an orgasm. This toy might be good for a beginner who wants something small, that won't end up going off accidentally in their suitcase. The speed dial isn't sensitive. This also could be good for a couple wanting to have fun in the bathtub, pool or jacuzzi when the kids are away. The waterproofness of this toy is definitely the most impressive. The one bad thing is the noise- I'll get to that later.

The Spellbound G is made of ABS and PU coated plastic. ABS is flammable so you might want to keep it away from fireplaces or candles. The texture is smooth; think of the rubber grip on the end of a hairbrush.

One great thing about this material is that it is on the less porous side, as noted in the material safety guide here at Edenfantasys.

The description on Edenfantasys says this toy is phthalates-free though there is no mention of this on the package or instructions. The back of the package says, "this product is intended for use as a novelty product only. For external use only." I find this confusing because if this toy is intended to stimulate the G-spot, how are we supposed to only use it externally? I also find it hard to get off with hard materials. I like soft materials better for vaginal/clitoral stimulation. I found that even when I had it on the highest settings, it did little to stimulate unless I pushed up close. This is probably because it is harder to feel the vibrations when they are going through a thicker material.

I think that this toy could be ten times better if the end of the G-spot curve was a little longer with more of a deeper curve and distinct point. I liked how the dial was very closely connected to the end of the vibrator. You have to twist it to adjust speed, instead of just lightly pushing against it. This makes it harder for it to turn on, or turn to a higher speed when you don't want it to. The size is discreet. It could be improved if it was longer with a bit of more girth, but for a beginner user it might be just fine. In fact, I'm sure that, if I was still a virgin, this would be enough girth for me.

A little vibration can be felt all up and down to the shaft, but the motor seems to be located right under the silver ring. That's where it goes all crazy. If you are looking for high-speed, and I mean HIGH speed, then this is your vibrator. You could probably use it to power your next speed boat. This toy can be used in the shower or the bathtub. I tried it submerged in the tub and it did fine. The biggest problem is the noise. In the shower it sounded like it was fine, barely even noticeable for some reason. Then, when I took it over and tried it on the bed....I was afraid I'd wake the neighbors. Seriously....you can hear it from downstairs and in the tub it is loud.

Use with a rubber compatible lubricant. This toy requires 2 C batteries. Remember to add them to your order or buy them before you get it in the mail. There is nothing worse than getting a sex toy in the mail, opening it up right away excited to try it, only to realize you don't have the batteries needed. Needles to say, I was scrounging around the bottom of drawers looking for some the moment I got it. You usually will get toys that only require AA batteries, so this might be different for you. C batteries give more power and last longer.

For cleaning, you are advised to use a soft anti-bacterial soap and water. I recommend buying some cleansing wipes or spray from Edenfantasys to clean your sex toys.

The toy came in a thin, hard, plastic package with no risque graphics, which was kind of nice! (Sometimes I find it a bit annoying when sex toys come in packages decorated with porn graphics. It makes it harder to feel secure just throwing it out in your trash, afraid that the garbage men will see and start getting ideas). There were NO instructions on how to use it. The only thing that came with it was a little piece of paper that told you where to put in the batteries, which was kind of a no-brainer.

When I first opened it, I put the batteries in and screwed on the top. I noticed that when I screwed it on, it started to vibrate. So, I had to unscrew it. I was like, "WTF!? you mean I can't close it without it being on?!" I tried to look for instructions, but there weren't any. It took me a few minutes, upon careful examination, to realize that part of the screw top was also the speed dial! The dial appears sort of hidden to the naked eye. It was fun taking it in the shower. When I took it to the bed and used it something funny happened. I added some lube and went to town, when suddenly, I thought I heard someone downstairs making something in the blender. I freaked out, and turned it off. I then listened and concluded that nobody was home and it was safe to turn it back on. Then the sound returned. I then realized that when I added the lube, it was creating a sort of blender effect with it! It was like I was making a dessert in my vagina! Seriously, I suddenly felt like I was holding an electric egg beater in my hand. For anyone who ends up purchasing this, or who has already purchased this, I'm sure you understand (or will soon understand) what I am describing. This thing is loud loud loud. I had a real hard time drowning it out with the usual things I use to drown out noisy vibrators. No method worked. You just have to hope and pray no one walks into the house/apartment at the time you are using it. In fact, I'm not sure I would use this in an apartment or a dorm. Actually, I'm pretty certain that I would not use it in a dorm. You'd probably disturb someone in the middle of studying.
