High expectations, low satisfaction.

I think this toy has potential. My partner and I were disappointed with its performance, and eventually stopped using it. Not a huge waste, but not our favorite, by a long-shot.

Use

This toy was meant as a gift to my partner, to help with those times we were apart. It was a bit larger than I intended, and relatively heavy as well. She had me use the toy on her when we were together, although we both preferred other toys.

Material / Texture

The material is relatively smooth. It has a moderate odor associated with it, that is easy to ignore. The texture of the material has raised ridges that sort of spiral along the sides.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is interesting. It is very solid, despite what you may think in regards to the material. This, combined with a relatively large size for a beginner, makes its less desirable and less comfortable. I would not recommend this for a first time toy. Although for a more adventurous individual, it might be a great addition.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrator has one speed control on the bottom. It is in the form of a dial, which at times can be difficult to move. When you are busy with other things while playing around, the dial is a bit of a nuisance.

On another note, the sound is extremely quiet.

Care and Maintenance

The material used on the vibrator itself is a tad sticky. This makes it a bit difficult to clean properly, and keep it that way. I was not impressed by this factor at all.

The main material of the toy is Jelly; although it is much more solid and firm than other jelly toys I've encountered. It is waterproof and could work great in that kind of situation!

  • Can anyone suggest an "upgrade" for me?
    • The Savanna's vivid dreams vibrator is one of my favorite toys but I would like to upgrade and get something made of a safer material. Could anyone point me in the direction of a toy that has a similar size/style to Savanna? I haven't had much luck looking on my own. Doesn't seem like there's much in the way of silicone that is this size with texture. A dildo that is similar would be nice as well.

      You probably want something jelly-like (silicone, TPR, etc.) that vibrates but a lot of glass toys have this design. I mean TONS of them do!
    • Yes I have seen a lot of glass toys that have the shape/size and texture I want, but I'm honestly a little hesitant to try glass. I'm a glass virgin and the fact that it doesn't have any give scares me. I guess I'm afraid I'll hurt myself with it! (sweat) Which I'm sure I'm most likely being a little paranoid, but I just haven't been able to get past that and buy a glass toy to see what I actually think of it. Maybe it's about time I take the plunge!
