High Intensity - but loud!
The High intensity Bullet is a loud vibrator, but only on the top to settings. The first setting is a quiet buzz, and the noise quickly increases thought the next two settings. Noise aside, it is a good vibe for its price range, and certainly packs a punch.Published: April 13, 2009

I've owned a few toys from the California Exotic, and have either loved them or hated them. This little bullet hits right in the middle though, as I enjoy how strong it is , but wish the vibrator was a bit quieter.
The toy has smooth seams, and a nice weight to it. It is turned on and off by a rubber push button at the base, and has a screw on cap for the batteries. It took me a few tries to get the vibrator to turn on, and initially thought it was broken. Turns out I should have looked at the note on the back of the packaging, because you must have the cap turned VERY tightly for the toy to work.
Once I had it up and running I realized a few things at once. First, this is a loud vibrator; second, its surprisingly powerful. The loudness is an issue, and the main reason that I'm not giving this toy a higher rating. The High Intensity Bullet is a three speed vibrator, and at the first level the noise is ok. But as you click it up in speed, it gets a bit more noticeable. Not so much that its not fun to use - but you can hear it though a closed door. My solution to this was to turn a fan on, or play some music while enjoying the high speed.
I love how powerful the vibrator is, it almost makes up for how loud the little thing is. The second setting was enough to bring me to my climax , and it was even strong enough for my man to enjoy. I must say that my favorite part though, is the pin point accuracy. Its hard to find an inexpensive vibrator that has a powerful point, and the High Intensity Bullet does the job wonderfully.
All in all, The High Intensity Bullet is a good vibrator for the cost. It's not the prettiest, and certainly not the quietest bullet vibrator, but it gets the job done!

Pink/Green one?

I'm not sure if this is the case but it might be. A while back, they were giving away the pink and green one of those for free (if you did so-and-so which I can't remember what). I know because I got one! Lol. I love it. It's velvety-feeling and it really is high intensity (in my opinion). I did my first review ever on it and I use it to make up for my Zook's weak clitoral attachment. I hope it comes back in stock so you can get it!

Texture of the high intensity bullet

I'm so confused about the texture of this bullet. The pink looks matte and the video review states that it is velvety. All the other colors look glossy and smooth. Can anybody tell me if there really is a difference?

It looks like the white may have the velvety texture as well, however, the black, silver, and fuchsia look like they are probably shiny, smooth. While you can feel the difference in your hands, I don't think you would feel the difference between the textures at all when you were using it down there.

Texture?

Does anybody know if the pink colored vibrator has a different texture than the other colored ones? It looks less shiny, so I wondered if it had a different feel to it also. I'm not a big fan of the plasticey feel of some vibrators so I'm wavering on getting this one.

Hey guys! I've been searching for what I'd consider to be the perfect, quiet bullet. I tried the high intensity bullet but it broke. The hollow points one was amazing when it worked! It's a little bit loud too.I have the blue TCB, it's ok but I was hoping for stronger vibes? Can anyone recommend a good one that's smooth, quiet, discreet, and has proven to last at least 6 months, instead of 6 days :-( Please help!

I'd contact Eden customer service about getting a replacement. I don't think any vibe should break in less than a week, so you may have gotten a defective one.

But I honestly am very impressed with it mostly because it has 3 different speeds and I've noticed that most vibrators of this size only have one speed.

try the '7 wonders bullet'
It's tiny, purple and has 7 functions. Normally I don't like the different functions because they're too... slow? But the & wonders bullet is really intense and has so many vibrating patterns! Or maybe try the pink candy bullet, it also has 7 functions and no cord/controller!

How odd. I got the pink one and it's damned near silent. I had it stuffed down my pants and my fiance couldn't hear it in the same room. (The tv was on but, still, he was two feet away)
Crappy quality control, I guess.
That is odd! Is it just as strong?
I've heard people say the same about other CalExotic toys though. For example my Clitoris pump is very quiet, but I've heard others say differently.
Unbelievably strong. I was floored when I first turned it on.
