It's nice, it's noisy, and in my opinion, it's worth any price you could ever pay for it. In fact, I own three of these bad boys; one for home, one for travel, and one in case one breaks (hey, you never know).
Yes, I know the idea of having a sex toy that you plug in next to your cell phone charger is certainly odd. And I know it's not always convenient; I've had to move the mattress in some hotel rooms to get to the freaking outlet.
But when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter. It's all worth it. This toy can send me 0-60 in about 8.3 seconds, and then do it again and again and again. With this in hand, I could orgasm 5 or 6 or ...well, as many times as I wanted to.
I've used this by myself, and with partners. It's super great for teasing, and for forced orgasms, if power play is your thing. I've used in on its own, and in conjunction with penetrative toys. It has caps too, for penetration, for ease of cleaning, for everything!
I seriously do not think that I can say enough amazing things about the toy. I was once told the term "weapons grade sex toys" by a friend, and if they exist, well, this is the Army General. Is the hitachi better than the acuvibe for anyone who has had the chance to try both? I'm under the impression that they are essentially the same thing but maybe I'm wrong...

I have had both, and they are really both very good toys. The main difference really is that the Acuvibe is rechargeable and can be used cordless, while the Hitachi must plug in to work. Personally, I think that the Hitachi is slightly stronger, and it has definitely outlasted my Acuvibes - I have had two, and they both broke down after about six months or so.

This is by far the best purchase I've made. My wife has a tough time reaching orgasm and needs the intense vibrations for her to climax.
