extremely useful review

I think every woman on earth should try the Magic Wand at least few times, even if it's too much at first--the possible benefits are just to great to pass over!

Pros:

powerful, throbbing vibrations unlike any other

Cons:

heaviness plus the cord can make it a little cumbersome; gets very hot to the touch after 30 min

This toy was definitely designed

The Hitachi Magic Wand can make me come in under one minute (I’ve timed it), but it can also make me come again, and again, and again.

The first time I tried it, I wasn't too happy. First, I was put off by how loud it was; it sounds like a small jackhammer, especially on high. If you share an apartment with thin walls, your roommates may smile, but a loud fan and music do mask the sound. I started by applying light pressure around my inner thighs and pussy, leaving my panties on. Once I reached my clit, however, I found that the vibrations were so teeth-jarringly strong, that I felt like my clit was going numb. I had a hard time reaching orgasm, which is highly unusual for me, and multiple orgasms were out of the question on that first try. This is probably because my pussy and I were overwhelmed by the intensity of the vibrations. I think that some pussies need some time to get accustomed to the very new and intense sensations the wand provides. Your body has to learn how to relax and appreciate these new and powerful sensations.

I really recommend not giving up right away. I found that using the wand on low and over jeans helped tremendously. Silicone attachments also do wonders for pussies that are overwhelmed by the strength of the vibrations while also pleasing those who like the head bare. I kept working with it, and during my third session with the wand, I felt one of the deepest, most powerful orgasms of my life. I don’t think my pussy has ever contracted so much. I also fondly remember times when I’ve come seven or eight times using the wand. Orgasms with the wand tend to be stronger than your average orgasm, which makes the wand truly special.

In fact, the incredibly powerful and fast, throbbing vibrations on the Magic Wand make other vibrators seem tinny and shallow. I should say that I use the low setting almost exclusively. I have switched to the high setting a couple of times, but then switched right back to the low within seconds. I don't even think I could come with the high setting, but again, this is very personal. My girlfriend, who uses the Magic Wand regularly, almost always uses the high setting.

The cons of the wand are 1) it’s heavy, which might not matter if it’s resting against your body, but I find my hand getting tired from holding it for a long time in some positions—although, granted, this is after having at least five orgasms, so maybe I shouldn’t complain. 2) The cord is cumbersome—but, again, the fact that it’s electric is the source of its power. Finally, 3) it does heat up a lot after heavy use (more than 30 minute), which can make things a bit uncomfortable.

I don't like the heat up thing though; you're right, it does get uncomfortable. Have you tried the Ideal (by Natural Contours)? It's like the Hitachi, but *slightly* less powerful, much lighter, and is rechargable!

I really thought about the Ideal, but there are some negative reviews of it that discouraged me. Next time I have a shopping spree, I'll consider it. It also seems easier to hold and might lend itself to a between-two-pussies position. My fantasy is to be able to hold the Hitachi or similar wand between me and my girlfriend. It's not really comfortable with the Hitachi, and we haven't been able to pull it off yet. But sex is so well-served by constant experimentation!
