I Always Did Like Fairies....
The Fairy Wand Massager is an excellent addition to anyone's collection. It's versatile and can be used for many different things all over the body. Its power is ridiculous and Power Queens will definitely enjoy using it.Published: October 29, 2010
Pros:
Power, Excellent for all over body massage, Plugs in.
Cons:
Heats up fast.
The Fairy Wand Massager is just that- a Wand Massager. It is made of plastic, and can be used all over the body. I personally enjoy it to get knots out of my back the most. It can be used for clitoral stimulation as well, but can be very strong so if you need mild vibrations I suggest keeping it on low. Power Queens will enjoy this toy quite a bit, however.
The wand itself is 13" long and the ball shaped head is 2 3/8" in diameter. It is made of plastic, and is flexible enough to move around a larger area for stimulation. The cord is a good 6' long so it has pretty good length to it. This makes it reach a good distance from the wall. This is a typical massager, so it can be used for travel or left out in the open if you desire.
The fairy is controlled by a rolling dial. You simply roll it down to turn it on and increase intensities. The vibrations go from a simple, thuddy light vibration to power equal to a small appliance. At its strongest, the vibrations tingle. It makes me itchy- that is how strong it is. It doesn't get too loud, however, for how much power it packs. It could be heard through a closed door but it doesn't sound like a weed-wacker like some of the other toys I own.
Since this plugs into the wall, it is NOT waterproof. Care needs to be taken when using this, to avoid electrocution of oneself. Do NOT submerse this or get the plug wet. The head can be cleaned with a hot, soapy washcloth or toy wipes.
There are multiple attachments sold for this, which I plan on trying out in the near future. There is the Gee Whiz, which looks like a good g spot attachment; Gee Whizzard, which looks like a larger version of the Gee Whiz; and G Plus which appears to be a dual stimulation attachment. These attachments all appear to be compatible with the Hitachi as well.

Experience
This toy is as strong as everyone says it is, that is for sure. But I STILL can't get a clitoral orgasm. I think the only reason I can't come with this is because it heats up within about 20 minutes of use. I need a little bit more extended play to get me off. However I definitely enjoy this for deep massages on those sore spots all over my body, and it is excellent to get me in the mood. Everyone should have a wand in their collection.

I still love this wand, and I don't regret getting it one bit. Not only does it work great for clitoral stimulation, it is amazing for sore muscles! It gives nice deep vibrations that work well for anywhere on the body.

Does the Fairy wand massager need voltage converter for Australia?
-
Does this: link have the same problems internationally that the Hitachi does?
Also, is the Hitachi save to use in Australia with a voltage converter? Some say yes but the official warning is no. -
Good thread, I was curious about this myself. Also wondering about the Wahl.
-
A friend of mine who lives there does own a Fairy Wand and SHE needed the converter for it. I don't know if it depends on WHERE you live there or what, but to be safe you might just want to get one :) you don't want to blow out the toy!
I'm not sure about the Wahl question, solitudinarian.

AerelI've seen attachments for the mini fairy and the video review of the fairies mentioned the attachments come for all sizes of the Fairy Massager but I can't seem to find them on the site. Are they available? -

Thank you for viewing Fairy wand massager review page!

Try the Mystic Wand rechargeable next time, it's truly awesome and it has an escalating pattern..sometimes if I am having trouble orgasming I'll put that on and then as I get close (and it will get you close!) I switch it to the medium steady vibrations. It's also really deep vibrations and I've never had it heat up from use.
Aw I'm so disappointed that it heats up just as badly as the Fairy Miniature does because I considered getting a larger Fairy Wand.
But I love your "weed-wacker" comment!
Very nice review! I've been wanting to try it - considered getting it this time, but it was out of stock when I was ordering. :/
Also, the nice thing about the Fairy Wands... is that they're actually more powerful - RPM-wise than the Hitachi
great review!
Good review. I keep looking at getting one of the fairies. They look so much cuter than a Hitachi.
Nice review!
I vacillate on wands, but the heating up thing is definitely a deal breaker for me. As always, thanks.
Thanks for the review, heating up never bothered me with my wand since I reach orgasm quickly but I can see how it would be a problem for some.
Lol @ weed wacker! Cracked me up. I wish they could make all toys quiet but still powerful.... come on technology! Shame it heats up pretty quickly too. Im going to buy the Mystic wand in a week or two - cant wait to try a wand. Great review!
Thanks, I will be waiting for your review Shellz Alicia has also suggested that to me, might just give it a shot! I was between this and the inspire for sooo long... I'll just work my way down the list
Nice review!
I'm a power queen and will have to check this one out.
Nice review too bad it heats up so quick
Can't wait for this one!
Yes, this one does heat up faster than I'd like. And the cord is short, but it's so darn cute!
thanks for the great review
