I don't like it when you stab me...

Why do you have to be mean to my G-spot, Shiny G? I was nice to you. Your power is average and you may be awkwardly sized, but still, I tried you. But your pointy tip just had a vendetta against my G-spot. Sorry, but we must end this abusive relationship.

Use

The Shiny G is a slender, yet long vibrator designed with G-spot stimulation in mind. It also comes with a ring (marketed as silicone, but it's almost definitely a compound with other materials) that can be placed on the toy for possible clitoral stimulation.

This toy could work for ladies who are fans of very, very thin toys. Like pencil thin. I would not recommend this toy for beginners because the dimensions of this toy urge you to be gentle and more conscious when handling it. Beginners are better off with softer, more forgiving toys when starting out. While G-spot toys are generally desired for some firmness, I would not recommend a completely solid, unyielding toy to beginners.

So who could enjoy this toy? Avid collectors may give this a try just for the sake of saying they did. It does not have any tell tale characteristics saying it is waterproof, so I would rule out the shower. It can be discreet if you have it on a lower setting and have some background noise, but there are quieter toys. Truly, I would suggets this toy if you're looking for hard G-spot toys that are thin but very very direct in their pressure. Or those who want to try the tip of this toy on the clitoris or nipples. That's about it.

Material / Texture

The Shiny G is made out of plastic. The plastic has a pretty sheen to it and gives off purple, silver, and green hues. Plastic rates and 8 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. It is non porous, so bacteria cannot thrive inside of the toy. It is also hypoallergenic, making it an option for more sensitive people. The Shiny G does not have an over smell or taste.

The Shiny G is smooth except for the G-spot tip. The shaft is very smooth and any drop of lube will make it even easier for insertion. It is very solid, it will stay where you put it, making it an option for those who want firm (very firm) stimulation. The stretchy ring it comes with is claimed to be made of silicone. It probably is, but it is either a lower grade silicone or it is mixed with something. Regardless, it is soft, very flexible, and jelly like. The ring has points on it. They provide texture, but they are malleable.

Design / Shape / Size

The Shiny G wins the award for "most like a pencil" for a reason. This toy is thin, but long. I can wrap my pinky around it with ease. It's thinner than a dry erase marker, clocking in at 2.25 inches in circumference. For reference, an the average girth for a penis is about 4.5 to 5 inches. So this toy is more than half the girth of the average penis.

Again, this the circumference is a good fit for ladies who prefer petite toys. Even though the Shiny G is a bit on the longer side, with an insertable length of 6.25 inches, you can place the stretchy ring on it to make the toy shorter. Here's the shiny G compare to some other G-spot toys in a similar price range.

From left to right: Diamond Spot Vibrator (not good), Cute G (fair), Shiny G, Lucid Dream Petites no. 8 (also ok), Dream Massager G (best of the bunch), and Pretty Pearl G Spot (decent).

If we were just considering size, I would recommend this toy for those who like thinner toys and are comfortable with managing the length using the ring. However, the G-spot tip of this toy makes it more advanced in ways (which I'll explain in the functions section).

The Shiny G is easy to travel with. It can fit in a bag easily enough. You can wrap it with a cloth so it's not so visible. In terms of sound, the Shiny G isn't the most discreet, but it doesn't sound like a plane taking off either. If you have background noise (such as a fan) going on, you shouldn't be heard beyond a closed door. At it's highest setting, the Shiny G is between 2 and 3 Bees.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The functions and controls for the Shiny G are simple enough. The base has a turn-dial. Twisting the dial turn the toy on its lowest setting. The more you turn the dial, the stronger the toy gets. At its strongest, the Shiny G is about 3 Vrooms. The vibrations travel through the toy well enough. They feel more buzzy than deep rumbly in nature. The Shiny G is not waterproof and there is a note on the package stating it should not be taken into the shower.

The vibrations will only work for average to sensitive ladies. Power queens should look away from this one. Also, if you're looking for this for G-spot stimulation, beware! The tip is very pointy. It could easily hurt yourself if you're not careful using it. This is not a toy you want to thrust with. The Shiny G makes a fair clitoral stimulator at least. Still, be careful with that tip.

Care and Maintenance

Care for the Shiny G is pretty easy. Soap and water, toy wipes, or toy cleaners are all good cleaning options. take extra care when cleaning the ring, since it has texture and places where debris will collect. The toy does not collect line since it is made from plastic, but the silicone/compound ring does.

If you use the ring on the shaft of the toy, you should only stick to water based lubricants with this toy. Storage is simple. When dry, the Shiny G can go in your general toy storage, the ring should be kept away from other silicone toys.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty basic. It's snap shell packaging that is clear so you can see the toy. The toy and ring are spaced in the package. The packaging is not discreet; it has a scantily dressed woman on it with the classic "come hither" expression. If gifting this toy, I would include a pouch to offer long term storage. The package is not designed for long term storage.

There is no paper instructions, but the package has most of the qualities of the toy displayed along with care for it. I think there are better gifts out there than this one.

Experience

Eh. This toy made me walk on eggshells, so to speak. I couldn't really enjoy the vibrations because I was worried about possibly hurting myself. I shouldn't worry about my toy harming me if I lose my attentions to it. I wouldn't gift this toy and I'll probably be throwing it in the trash. I found the silicone ring more amusing than the toy itself.
