7 Function power play bullet - bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by ksparkles16

I love bullets! I have been looking for a bullet similar in power to Eden’s Multispeed basic bullet, but with a softer material. I love Eden’s bullet, but the metal can sometimes irritate my clit to death. I decided to try California Exotic’s 7 Function Power Play Bullet.

Bullets are great for anyone and everyone. They can be used for general external stimulation, or for more intimate stimulation on your clit or penis. They are not designed for internal use in the butt or vagina.

I really like this bullet. The softer material feels nice and it’s easy to use. I love the color options! My favorite color is blue so I was pretty excited to use a blue bullet. I do wish that it had more steady vibration settings, but I still like this bullet to use it on a regular basis.

The Power Play Bullet is made out of PU Coated Plastic. It rates a seven out of ten on Eden Fantasy’s Safety scale. It’s fairly safe to use. The material is very comfortable. It is smooth with no texture. It is almost velvet like to the touch. The plastic is firm with no give or flexibility, perfect for pinpoint stimulation.

There is one seam around the bullet, but it didn’t bother me during use. It doesn’t attract any hair or lint. The material is a dark blue, you can’t see through it at all. The bullet has virtually no drag, but I still advise using a little bit of lube to make yourself more comfortable. The control pack is also the same plastic material. I love holding it in my hand! It’s very nice and smooth and feels nice to hold. There was no smell to this bullet.

This bullet is shaped like most. You have your control pack, wire, and bullet. The control pack has little grips on the side making it really easy to hold. The bullet is shaped like most and average in size. It’s a little over two inches in length. It has a circumference of 3" and a diameter of 1".



The wire is a little over 30 inches long, so it’s certainly adequate for most. I keep mine tied up since it’s so long. California Exotic’s logo is on the bottom of the compartment. This bullet is perfect for travel.

The bullet is powered by three AAA batteries. I love its battery compartment! You don’t have to open a tricky compartment. All you have to do is push open the compartment located on the very bottom of the toy. It’s so nice and easy to take out! It makes my life easier for sure. I hate tricky hard to open and close battery compartments. Simply close the bottom until it snaps.




There are two buttons to control your bullet. One is the on/off button and the other is your pattern button. This bullet has a lot of patterns (6 in total) so if you’re looking for patterns in a bullet this is a good choice. Here are all the settings.

1. Steady Vibration at the highest setting.
2. Fast Pulses.
3. Fast Pulses, then escalating steady vibration, back again.
4. Slow long pulses, then fast pulses, back again.
5. Escalating steady vibration from high to low then back again.
6. Random pulse pattern.
7. Pulses, steady vibration, and then back again.

When you turn it off, the toy will start back again at the first setting. It doesn’t remember the last setting you used. It’s pretty powerful. I’m giving it a vroom of 4 and a bee of 3. It is a little on the loud setting, but the power makes up for it to me. I do wish there were more modes of steady vibration, but I still like the bullet.

I love that this bullet is waterproof! It means I can wash this bullet with ease and I don’t have to worry about water getting anywhere. The wire is coated so water won’t affect it. You can also use a wipe if you are feeling particularly lazy one day.

Since this is plastic, you can use a silicone or water based lubricant.

The bullet was placed in a see through plastic package. It isn’t discreet at all but serves the purpose of displaying the toy. It comes with a brochure on how to install batteries and such. I’m probably going to end up recycling mine.

This bullet is fairly similar to Eden’s Multispeed Basic Bullet. I put both on high and they felt identical in power to me. If you want something cheap and basic, go for Eden’s bullet. If you want something waterproof, with patterns, and softer in material go for California’s Exotic’s bullet. I’m torn on which one I like more. On the one hand, I love that I can choose any speed I want with Eden’s basic bullet. However, I really like that this bullet is waterproof, has easy to use controls, and an easy to open battery compartment. Right now, I’m leaning towards California Exotic’s probably because it is newer and feels better on my clit. Plus, I love that blue color! I’m rating this bullet four stars out of five since it only offers one steady vibration speed. Everything else is great!
