The We-vibe II is quite the little innovation in couple's play-things. Made of high-grade material, it makes for fun, fabulous, and worry-free play. The vibe works wonders for added stimuli when you are having intercourse, but it is also fun to use if you are alone and want to stimulate your clitoris and g-spot simultaneously. It can be felt by both partners when inserted and has multiple vibrating patterns. The We-vibe II can be used by just about anyone unless you have a small vaginal canal, making it painful to insert the penis once the vibe is in place.

The We-vibe II is made out of 100% silicone for a safe and worry-free toy experience. Silicone is hypoallergenic and Phthalates-free. It contains no latex and is non-porous. Eden gives silicone a safety rating of 10/10.

When I took the vibrator out of the package, I did notice a slight smell to the material that encases the We-vibe. It is still present after a month, but it's not an unpleasant smell at all. I didn't notice a taste when I taste-tested the thing for science.

The silicone is very smooth to the touch and quite squishy. The vibe has two ends, one for your C-spot and one for the G-spot. The smaller G-spot end has ridges that are designed to hold the vibrator in place. I didn't find I could feel them once inserted at all, but they seem to work to keep it in. The C-spot end has some less pronounced ridges which rest on your clitoris. I couldn't feel these either. This silicone has quite a bit of drag, so a water-based lube is recommended to ease insertion of the toy.

The We-vibe is a nifty little toy that is shaped like a U and resembles tongs. It has two teardrop ends that both house motors with a thin connecting piece. When inserted, it sits nicely in the G-spot area of the vagina and also on the clitoris to provide excellent vibrations in more than one spot. The thin connecting piece rests inside and out the opening to the vaginal canal. It measures 6 inches in total length when stretched out, with 3 inches being insertable. The round teardrop shapes have a circumference of 3 inches as well. I find it fits just as it should when I have it inserted and hits both my G-spot and C-spot nicely. I think it would be suited for anyone as long as they don't have a very tight vagina.

The vibe doesn't really look like a sex toy at all and it is quite small, making it great for travel. It also won't take up much space in your toy box or your nightstand, so storing the We-vibe is a cinch.

We-vibe has two vibrating motors. One is located in the C-spot teardrop and the other is in the G-spot one. To operate it, you have to charge it first since it is a rechargeable toy. When fully charged, it should last for two or more hours of play. To charge it initially and thereafter, plug the end of the charger into the little dimple on the front top of the C-spot end.

To turn We-vibe on, you press the tiny little nipple on the top front of the clitoral stimulator. Once activated, it has 9 different deep vibration patterns to it. It can be tricky to change patterns or even start it up if you have too much lube on your hands or on the vibe. It's a slippery little sucker when lubed!

Here are the vibration patterns:

The first is a lower version of the second, both being a steady vibration. The 3rd is a quick pulse going from high to medium and then low, lasting about a second each. The 4th revs like an engine and then goes back down to low again. The 5th is a medium vibration that pulses very rapidly. The 6th revs up like an engine, going from low to high and starts back at low again. The 7th starts with a few long pulses and ends with very short pulses. The 8th starts by revving like a car very slowly for 12 seconds and then revs backwards for 2. The 9th starts with 2 short pulses and then ends with 3 shorter ones; it goes 1, 2(longer) 1, 2, 3(short). To turn it off, you click it once after the 9th variation or you can hold down the nipple for a few seconds. The vibrations are deep and rumbly. I personally like the steady vibe #2 as I find I get too distracted from the broken patterns. I find myself humming along with them or counting. Not good for trying to achieve an orgasm!

It's quite a quiet little toy. When it's on, it's hard to hear it even from a few feet away. The only time it gets more audible is when it revs up fast.

The vibe is water resistant but not waterproof. I haven't had a chance to use it in the shower, but I imagine it is fine so long as it doesn't get submerged in water. The little dimple where you plug the charger in doesn't seal over completely once you take the charger out.

Since the vibrator is encased in silicone, it's not recommended that you use a silicone-based lube with this toy. Silicone lube can cause the silicone toy to break down and I think it would be a shame to have to buy another. I found water-based lube worked very well with it.

To wash the We-vibe, you can use soap and water or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. Since it does not say it’s waterproof, only water resistant, I wouldn't submerge it to clean. While silicone can be boiled, you wouldn't want to boil this toy. It has motors inside that could be damaged by doing so.

The vibe needs to be charged after use so you don't run the risk of it running out of juice during a session. That would be awfully frustrating, I think.

To store the We-vibe, you can place it in the nice satin pouch that it comes with. This will prevent it from picking up hair and dust/lint as it is a magnet for those things. Don't store it on its own next to other silicone and silicone composite toys because it will likely want to melt into them.

The toy came in a white cardboard box with a clamshell insert that housed the We-vibe. The adapter also came in a small cardboard box. While the cardboard is recyclable, the clamshell is not unfortunately. It has a cut-out on the front so you can view the vibe from the outside of the box in its inner shell. The outer box does say that it's worn while making love and that it's an adult novelty, so it's not 100% discreet packaging. You could use the box as storage, but it's a larger one so I would just use the bag it came with.

The We-vibe came with a pamphlet of instructions in 6 different languages. There are enough instructions there for you to be able to know how to plug it in and charge it, and there are diagrams of how to insert and wear it during use.

My husband and I really enjoy using the We-vibe when we have intercourse. I have been able to reach orgasm from it much easier than with strictly penetration. My husband seems to reach orgasm much quicker too as we have found out. He was a little embarrassed last time at how quickly he came, but I was already satisfied so I didn't care. I have found that I like to put it in during foreplay and let it vibe for a while before he enters me. It feels really good when it's working its magic on my pussy. I haven't been able to orgasm with it alone, mind you. I need a more intense vibrator to do that job.

I found a different use for it by accident. I jokingly put it on my neck and to my surprise, it felt really good! The teardrop ends sit on my neck muscles and help me to relax them. So, when you are travelling if you are asked what it is, you can tell them it's your neck vibrator! Possible awkward situation avoided.
