If Willy Wonka Made Sex Toys...

Out of all the toys I have reviewed, I think Posh is one of the best valued toys out there for under 15 bucks. It is a good strength and likely to please a variety of ladies. It could also be that great gift for a friend.

Use

Just picture it! Willy Wonka is the Santa of sex toys and the Oompa-Loompas are his faithful, sex toy making elves! The Posh would be a logical result from this set up. Given the Posh's color options and look, it reminds me of candy.

But perhaps I'm just odd. Regardless, Posh is an affordable, beginner friendly toy that can intrigue even more avid collectors. It's pretty strong and a good quality given its price. Posh is designed as an external clitoral stimulator. You could technically insert it, but be aware that it has a bit of pronounced texture on it! This toy would be risky to try for anal sex, given its lack of safety features and overall small size, to say the least.

Clitoral stimulation is the aim of this toy, but Posh can also stimulate other erogenous zones such as the nipples and entrance to the vagina. It's also small, non intimidating, and discreet. It can be used to stimulate the clitoris during intercourse in some positions. It is waterproof and can be taken in the shower. This makes it a great choice for ladies who live with others and only have a little privacy. All in all, this little guy is a great bargain given all its qualities.

Plus... you can get a decent green or yellow toy: two uncommon toy colors in the sex toy world.

Material / Texture

Posh is made out of TPR silicone. The TPR (thermoplastic rubber) is a rubber polymer that is mixed with silicone to make the coating on Posh. There are different types and grades of TPR silicone, so the material can range in terms of porousness. I would consider Posh to be microporous. This means that it is not non-porous, but it is not nearly as porous as jelly or rubber. It will degrade at a much slower rate than jellies and rubbers.

Since Posh is used for mostly external play, the material is still fair to good. There is a very slight toy smell to Posh, but you have to put your nose to it to detect it. The toy is mostly smooth except for a target shaped design toward the top of the toy. At first it could be mistaken as a button. Push as hard as you like, but it won't turn on from her (I occasionally forget this before remembering).

The texture works for beginners and those who want a little something during external play. If you don't want the texture, just turn Posh a bit to its smooth surface. The smooth surface does have some drag, so a drop of water based lube will give you a smoother glide. If you're looking for Posh just for texture, it's not much. Posh is firm and will not bend. It will stay where you put it.

Design / Shape / Size

Posh is small, but about average size given it is a non-wand clitoral stimulator. It fits comfortable in your hand. It is 5.5 inches long and weighs a little over a quarter pound. The head is wider than the neck, which slims down and makes it easy to hold. It looks like a little rocket in shape.

Because it is designed for external stimulation, Posh can appeal to all levels of experience. It could even be that first toy purchase for someone. It is also easy to travel with and discreet. In terms of noise, Posh clocks in at about 2 Bees. You won't be heard beyond a closed door. If you throw a blanket over and have some background noise going, you probably don't have to worry about the door being closed all the way.

For traveling, Posh can fit in most purses if you wanted. It can turn on at the base, so be aware of this.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Posh has a button at the base that turns the power on as well as cycles through the vibrations. Posh has two vibrations: a Lo and Hi. The Vibrations are standard, steady vibes. The Lo is about 2 Vrooms and the Hi is a solid to high 3 Vrooms. I say the majority of clitorises can enjoy Posh. If you need a solid 4 Vrooms to orgasm, then this one won't be your "go-to." The vibrations are focused more in the head of the toy where you want it most. The vibrations are more rumbly than buzzy in nature. Your hand shouldn't numb when using this one.

Posh is waterproof, just make sure you screw the cap on tightly. I have submerged it (for science!) and it has held up. Posh takes one AA battery to function. This could very well be one of those toys where you get a back up because they are so useful and wonderful.

Care and Maintenance

Care for Posh is pretty easy. Soap and water, toy wipes, or cleaner is your best bet hear. Take extra care in cleaning around the little target shaped texture because debris can collect there. Only used water based lubes with Posh since it is a silicone compound. Store wrapped when dry.

Packaging

The packaging for Posh is the only negative thing about it. It comes in a basic snap-shell packaging. The front has a lady giving the "come hither" look. it has the typical sex toy feel to the packaging. It's not discreet nor intended for long term storage.

If gifting this toy, I would throw it in a gift bag or a little drawstring pouch and ditch the packaging (or put the whole thing inside the storage you buy for it). I would gift this to most of my friends with no problem.

Experience

Posh actually has a coveted location in my frequently used toy collection. It has a spaced among all my other star toys, and I think it is the least expensive one out of this bunch. It goes to show that price point isn't what determines a great toy!

Posh also comes in great spring colors, making it a sexy Easter gift option. Even with its colors, I'm probably going to buy some of these for my friends as a stocking stuffer. I'll probably also pick up another as back up for myself. They are worth the investment.
