iFail

If having a remote is more important than getting off, by all means, go ahead. However, if you're looking for a high quality toy, keep looking. This rabbit may seem innovative and cutting edge, and it just may be that, but the innovations lead to disappointment. What you pay for here is a cheap rabbit with a remote.

Use

The iVibe Wireless Rabbit is a dual stimulating rabbit which is controlled entirely by a small wireless remote. It is intended for simultaneous vaginal and clitoral stimulation.

Both beginners and pros will love this toy. It boasts lots of varied functions and speeds, so you can mix it up any way you like. Even couples will enjoy this toy, because one partner can take the remote, while the other takes the rabbit.

The shaft of the toy is of average size, so this would be a great fit for those who are looking for toys in the middle of the size range. The shaft is also pretty smooth, unlike some of the other rabbits out there, which have a larger area where the beads are. The rabbit extension is very flexible, and easily reaches anywhere you need it, which is great for those who have problems with other rabbits not fitting their anatomy. The rotating beads add for stimulation of the vaginal opening and g-spot in most women.

The toy is waterproof, however, the remote is not, so it may not be suitable for shower or tub play.

Material / Texture

This rabbit is made of TPE and Plastic. It is extremely flexible. A downside to the material composition is that it is sticky, so lubes and regular cleaning are needed. Overall, the rabbit is smooth, with only a few little nubs in the classic smiley face design underneath the head.

When taken out of the package, it did not have much of a smell like TPE can sometimes.

I wanted to add an additional note here about the material. This TPE is so soft that it bunches up during insertion! You can seriously pull the material down so that it goes over the plastic about an inch! When I inserted this thing, it felt like it had air trapped in it, which caused it to bunch up right on the outside!

Design / Shape / Size

While some may enjoy how flexible this rabbit is, I did not. Because the material is very rubbery and not too firm, some of the vibration of the bullet in the rabbit is lost when it travels down the ears. This is more of a fluttery than a direct rabbit sensation.

The beads on the shaft of this rabbit are made of metal. While other rabbits boast that metal beads mean they are non-jamming, such is not the case with this one. I found that with a moderate amount of pressure, the beads were greatly slowed down and made a louder noise. These beads were incredibly uncomfortable during use and jammed up pretty frequently. My other rabbit, which has bigger beads at the base, did not have this problem at all, and I found it quite pleasurable. This one, however, made me just want to turn them off.

Overall, this rabbit is of average size, so it may be great for a beginner.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This rabbit is controlled solely by the remote and does not have any buttons on the base of the toy. This could be a downside if you ended up misplacing the remote, dropping it on the floor, or losing it in the sheets.

The vibrations and rotations are controlled independently. The remote has dedicated button for powering on each function. There are seven different vibration speeds and patterns. You get your classic high/medium/low settings, with the other four being classic vibration patters. These are pretty typical patterns. The rotation has three speeds, and the fourth setting is where it goes one way, reverses, and then goes back to the other direction. The screen has animations indicating both the vibration and the rotation, and has a timer on it so you can time yourself.

Overall, the noise of the toy is about a medium level. A small amount of resistance will cause the beads to make a louder noise, or jam up completely.

The batteries are inserted by screwing off the bottom of the base and taking out the battery compartment. It is easy to load and re-insert. It takes three AA batteries. The remote takes a 12v-1 battery which is included.
    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

TPE requires little maintenance. It can be washed in warm water with antibacterial soap, or with toy wash. Due to the stickiness of the material, it will pick up lint pretty easily. A good bath will fix that. The remote, however, is not waterproof.

The material is compatible with both silicone and water-based lubricants.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

Honestly, I was let down by this toy. After thinking about it, a remote controlled rabbit isn't the best idea out there. While it seems innovative and different, it really is more of a hassle. To change functions, you have to have the remote. It can't be operated with one hand. With no buttons on the base, you're screwed if someone walks into the room and you need a quick shut off. The quality of the rabbit is about the same as those that range from $30-50.

Experience

I really hate this thing. I can't stress that enough. I tried so hard to like it, but I just couldn't. I guess I was used to higher-quality rabbits. This one is just that bad. Do yourself a favor and find another cheaper rabbit without a remote.
Follow-up commentary
I used this once and it's been sitting in my toy box ever since. It was a complete waste of money and makes me long for my Cal Exotics Platinum Edition Rabbit even more. I wish I would have just bought a replacement for that instead of falling stupidly for this toy.

After using this TWICE, the sleeve detached from the base. I didn't even really use it that much those two times because it was so uncomfortable and horrible.
