I was highly anticipating the arrival of the
Impulse 5 butterfly. I am happy to say I was not disappointed. This toy has a few flaws, but the payoff definitely makes it worth it.
When I first opened the box, I was a little intimidated by all the straps and plastic. I was also a little confused because there were no directions. I was determined however, and after looking at the picture on the box I eventually got it on. The straps seem very weak, and I am not sure how long they will last. They are adjustable though, which made getting a good fit easier. They were also not as uncomfortable as I was expecting them to be; after a few minutes, I couldn’t even tell they were on. I think putting it on was the most challenging part. After I put the batteries into the controller, it started right up.
I had a lot of fun trying all the different variations of speed and vibration. I felt like I had a lot more control than with other
vibrators. There were so many different variations, and they all felt so good. I eventually settled on the one that I liked the best. I tried wearing pants while having the toy on, and I was surprised that it worked just fine. The butterfly seemed a little bulky, but you couldn’t tell at all, with the exception of the remote hanging out. My next challenge was positioning. The butterfly body felt alright on my clit, but the antennae are where the real
WOW is. I could position it to be right where I wanted but then I had to stay pretty still. I did this while also using a dildo and the result was amazing.
The next time I used this toy, I decided to not strap it on. Instead, I just set the vibrations to what I like, and I was able to move the butterfly around freely to wherever I wanted. This worked equally well as having it strapped on; I still loved those little antennae! I rated the vrooms at a 5, because it can get very loud when it is set to its highest level. The lower levels are not as loud, but I found that no matter what, I always ended up with it on high. The higher levels are intense though, and I liked having the option of the less powerful ones.
