Ina word? Awesomesauce.
This toy is awesomesauce. Which even in its imperfections, is pretty darn near perfect. The whisper quiet vibrations paired with some great patterns and low to high steady vibrations makes this a fabulous toy.Published: April 1, 2010
Pros:
Silicone, quiet, high vibrations, two motors.
Cons:
No thrusting, doesn't fit every body type.
The Ina is Lelo's answer to a rabbit vibrator. It has an insertable shaft that can be inserted for 3.5 inches, and a clitoral stimulator that is almost two inches. The insertable portion is made of silicone which means it is completely body safe. The handle is made of plastic.
This is very much a toy for people who know what they like. You don't want to be dropping a bunch of dough on this only to realize that you don't even like dual stimulation. However, if you do your 'research' and realize that Ina is indeed what you would like, then I'd say buy it asap.
But what exactly do you need to know to know if this is the toy for you? I'd say most of all, think about your anatomy. Apparently my anatomy is just a bit off for this to be the perfect product for me. The motor in the clitoral stimulator is just a bit too high for me to really say this is it for me. You'll also have to take into account that this is NOT a thrusting toy. The clitoral stimulator will jab at you with any version of thrusting that you have. So you'll rock and wiggle yourself to an O.
I did mention above that the clitoral stimulator doesn't exactly match up with my clit, however it does feel amazing inside. The bulge that the Ina has is just amazing. It fills you up without feeling too girthy. I feel like it slides in easy without the aid of lube, but if you need lube remember to stick to water-based lubes with your Ina.
You'll want to keep in mind that the clitoral stimulator, while flexible, is not as flexible as others in rabbit vibes. I'd say it almost goes 90 degrees from the shaft but not quiet. Once you have it positioned against you, that's where it will stay. It stimulates both your clit and labia because of the size. It is pretty cool.
I was a bit surprised when I saw Ina's control pad. It is unlike that of other Lelo toys (at least the Gigi). Instead of the usual circle control this has four buttons. Up, down, plus, minus.
Plus increases the vibrations.
Minus decreases the vibrations.
(I felt about 11 steady vibration settings but it is hard to determine one from another near the bottom levels so I may be off on that)
Up and down scroll through the vibration patterns, there are eight. They are the typical vibrations patterns that you see these days, except for one. I was surprised in use when I felt a pattern that was amazing and not something I had experienced before. It would switch between shaft and stimulator vibrating. It was awesome and no other toy I have heard of does this. I am not a fan of the patterns usually, but this one made me a believer.
Lelo packaging is among the top that I have seen. It comes in a sturdy cardboard box that is perfect for storage. Inside the box is your Ina, 1 year warranty, silky storage pouch, and your charger. To charge your Ina there is a port at the bottom which can be accessed by flipping up the little rubber stopper. You'll know when to charge your Ina because it will flash red on your buttons. When charging the buttons will blink a light blue and when it is fully charged it will emit a steady blue light. It charges for about two hours and holds a charge for about 2 hours.
Don't forget that this toy is not waterproof, so don't go in the shower/bath with this. It also means that for cleaning you'll want to use a damp cloth/soap or toy cleaner but don't submerge this in water to clean it.
Really, I do love this toy. It is rechargeable, and well made. However it just doesn't fit my body perfectly. It works. It gets me off. But the clitoral stimulator motor just doesn't hit the perfect spot on me. I still love the toy, it is still awesomesauce, but I won't be throwing my other toys away to run away with this one. So for those of you wondering if this is the toy for you, I'd say that if you are on the fence, go for it. It is an awesome dual stimulator, and even if it isn't *perfect* for you, it'll still lead to some awesome Os.

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
Ina is definitely one of those toys that deserves a follow-up review. I think that I majorly underestimated Ina the first time that I wrote this. Sure, I gave her five (well deserved) stars, but really she deserves more. Or at least, she has grown on me more.
There are some times where inserting Ina is a pain, mostly because I don't want the hassle of jiggling it around too fit just perfectly. So don't worry, there are still downsides. However, now that I've had time to get to know Ina, I love her more than I did before. She brings me to orgasm fast and hard. I don't really know how she does it, but she does.
Remember how I said (and definitely emphasized) that Ina was just a tad off for me? Well really, I just needed to get to know her and let her know me. Now I know that having Ina firmly pressed against my clit is not her best position for me. I have found this perfect motion with her to get me off faster than almost all my other toys.
So why don't I use Ina every day? Well, she is TOO good. Some times I like the slow buildup. Ina is a fabulous toy, and she gets better (much better) with time. I'd still recommend her to anyone, but would still preface it with that she won't work for everyone's anatomy. It's sad, but it's the truth. I'm so lucky that she works for me, because really she is awesomesauce.

How strong is the Ina in comparison to other vibrators?
-
I'm saving up for an Ina and want to be sure that it's worth it for my partner and I. I know my way around vibes pretty well so for those who own or have used an Ina, comparisons to any other vibe could be useful.
Particularly useful would be comparisons to the wahl 5-speed massager, the hitachi, the mimi and the we-vibe salsa, though. Those are especially appreciated!! :P
Thanks!
(Discussion of other elements of the toy is fine too, if anything stands out about it to y'all) -
I don't personally have any of those toys you mentioned, but you're more than welcome to send messages to the people who have reviewed it to see if they have any of the others you're interested in for comparison's sake. :) That's usually easier and faster than waiting for a response on a thread since they get buried so easily.

The battery in mine does not hold a charge very well, does this have to do with the speed im using?

Quote: the lower the speed the longer it will lastI guess so, but I usually dont use the max speed and the charge does last long :( I've had mine for over two months already.

Ina Buttons
-
I notice that the buttons on my Ina don't always respond the first time I push them...It's kind of annoying. Has anyone else had this problem with theirs or heard of this happening?
-
I noticed that, too. You just need to hold them down a teeny bit longer than you think you need to.

Quote: I noticed that, too. You just need to hold them down a teeny bit longer than you think you need to.Yes, I agree. You have to give them a purposeful push to get them to change levels. But I just figured that was because the old Lelo toys were too easy to accidentally push and cause a change.

Ina G-spot and clitoral vibrator
-
woodpacker75Hi, I was wondering is this product soft or is it hard for the material that was made into this product. Some times when the product is hard it kind of hurt certain places if not used right. -
Sometimes it's easier to go to the product page and read some of the reviews on the product to find out information about it. Since I don't personally have the product, I do not know, but you might want to try out what I said. If the reviews do not answer your questions, ask the reviewer in a comment how firm or soft it is.
-
Also, on the product page, Victoria has a really good review which would answer all your questions. There is another thread about Ina, not linked on the product page (you can search the forums with the main search bar, though): link

Thank you for viewing Ina – rabbit vibrator review page!

Very good review. Was a bit disappointed to hear this isn't waterproof. For 156 dollars you think it would be!
Oh well, thanks for sharing!
You mention that the clitoral part has some give to it, does the shaft have any either?
Thanks for the review. I feel like Lelo should take another stab at the rabbit style and make it more friendly to different bodies.
Every time I read an Ina review I want it even more! Great review!
Very nice review, thanks!
Thanks everyone!
@Juliettia - The clitoral part and shaft are both solid no give at all. What I talked about was a flexibility to move the clitoral stimulator to nestle it against your clit.
I can't decide on this one
Great review!
Oh oh oh! I want one!
nice review
